I know a guy just like you who was a NY cop for years and then became a lawyer. You can really do a service for your clients when you know their secrets.

It's very much like the insurance defense lawyers that become plaintiff's lawyers after working for insurance companies and learning their dirty tricks before flipping to the money side.

Bingo.

I love good police work and absolutely despise $hitty/lazy police work.

Their secrets, applies to both sorry cops and statist prosecutors.

We're polar opposite right now. Since around 09 we have been unreal business wise but last 5 months or so have been mind blowing slow lately though the port I'm in rarely if ever tows any more we are strictly about ship docking.

Also didnt mean to be vague but not just what OT can find out I know what my Company tracks and they find out random things posted about them on the webs with quickness.

I completely understand not telling me where you work lol. People get fired for much less. I deck for one of the companies I listed, but my boat stays around Capline and Geismar in a pretty slow area. We haven't really done many jobs in the last few months since it slowed down, but it was balls to the wall for a while, like 30 ship assist jobs a week for us. My company was making almost a million dollars a day at one point, with all the hold-ins, escorts, stand-bys, etc.

I started out decking now I'm a weekend office manager, well that's my title I.m still a bitch. We were averaging I'd say 20 moves a day it was enough we made more than NYC for 2 years in a row. I would say lately we average 8 a day. But hopefully winter is coming and a certain coal pier is our #1 money maker.

I can totally relate to where you're coming from. Deckhand is the ultimate bitch job though. I've never been fricked with so hard, it just comes with the territory

This place used to be chock full of doctors, lawyers, politicians and other professionals who actually mattered in the world.

Now it's plant workers, insurance salesman, and other rejects of society.

I'm an Internet Message Board Designer, I basically create spaces for people with no social skills to be social. Occasionally, I get some legit business or organization contracts.
