I was a big Herman fan but these last weeks of consecutive sloppy execution and confusion on D have led me to conclude he's not The Guy for LSU.
And thank God Texas beat Baylor! Strong will stay at UT, giving the Tigers a better shot a great coach

Strong's big win today makes it hard for them to fire him. I personally think if we want Herman, we can get him.

same here. I think we have a much better chance of getting him now. Would be happy to land Fisher or Fleck, if coach O falters. Not a big fan of Fisher for LSU. doesn't seem like the best fit for LSU. but of course would still pull for him and LSU if he gets the gig.

Herman will be at Texas or UH. He wants the Texas job. USC would be tempting since its close to home but I don't think they will fire Helton. His wife is a California girl. I don't see her moving to Baton Rouge.

Distant 3. Coach O ONLY if we beat Arkansas, Florida, and A&M. If we lose any of those three games, Coach O falls from 3rd to "others receiving votes!"
