Do you remember the last movie you rented from a video store?

I don't off my head but I do remember what I bought during the going out of business sales at Blockbuster and a local mom and pop store. I got to keep one of the Blockbuster store signs for my man cave and some free DVD cases.

I'm sure it wasn't the last one, but the last that I can remember right now is The One with Jet Li.

I can't remember what it was, just that they had shrunk their selection of movies to give more wall space to new releases. Stopped bothering going there a couple years before they closed because of that.

I want to say something that feels recent like Star Trek (2009) or Iron Man (2008) I knew someone at a Blockbuster and used to get the movies the Thursday before they came out.
Redbox and streaming were already my go to, but no other way to get Blu Ray new releases back then.

Rented 45 years from videodrome in atlanta a week or so ago. It's a great store.

My daughter's last semester at the U of A. I traveled up to see her march in the RMB and watch an afternoon game. After the game we went to the Blockbuster and rented Carrie. I just sat back and waited. She nearly came unglued at the final scene.
