I don't usually mention this in public situations, but some of my best friends are from Bogalusa.
One thing you can say about it when you visit, you're either going to make a friend or make a fight. Usually it's both at the same time.

Monroe.
I'd like to keep it that way.

Judging by wikipedia
New Iberia is bigger than Houma. Reading on here I got the idea it was the other way around.
Mound LA, the hometown of rock and roll bassist Joe Osborn of The Wrecking Crew, is listed as having precisely 19 people.
Denham only has 10K people? From this board you'd think half of BR moved there

I don't admit it too often but j have family slung all along that area from all over Tangipoho down through to Bay St Louis.
Many share Cocono's last name, but thankfully it's one of the most common last names around. I'd hate to find out we were cousins after 14 years or so.

Lotta unincorporated Livingston Parish. They tend to genetically claim Denham.

Except for a drive to Dallas when I went through Alexandria and Shreveport -- but didn't stop -- I don't think I've ever been anywhere in LA north of St Francisville
Is there anyone here in N LA who's never been to BR/NO?

I honestly cannot think of any actual towns or cities in which I have not been.

Pretty sure Angola for the rodeo is a far North as I've traveled without flying.

Probably Ruston for me.

Born and grew up there - otherwise I might never have been.

I used to travel around the state for work. I've been to every parish except Claiborne, which is NE of Minden.
I guess I need to figure out a reason to go up there, so I can say I've been to every parish.

I've been all over the state for work, but never been to Eunice.

I've never been to Houma, and I don't know that I'll have a reason to ever go there.
