basically they have til 3 to hope the cone shifts...which it probably won't....but none the less they're gonna wait until 3 to hold out as long as possible before moving it

I can't blame them for that but it has given no indication that it's going to reverse course. Just the opposite in fact.

Is it possible that FLA is dragging their feet in the hopes that the SEC HQ cancels the game?

Theres some chess pieces being moved behind the scenes right now as LSU started getting ready for this game to be played in BR yesterday or the day before. I think they anticipated this move by FLA and are trying to checkmate them. Not give the SEC and FLA an excuse to cancel.

Florida may have but --- from Wikipedia "James Frank McElwain was born in Missoula, Montana in 1962. He played quarterback at Sentinel High School in Missoula where he was chosen as an all-state quarterback.[1] He then went on to play quarterback in college at Eastern Washington from 1980 to 1983, and he earned a degree in education.[1]"

That was going to be my question. Has he ever been through a hurricane.... apparently not.

No, but the lack of info so far and dragging their feet makes it appear that the powers that be @ UF haven't. Its was painfully clear this time yesterday to anyone that has experience with these situation that their was no way this game was taking place in Gainesville @ 11am Saturday.

There's no chance the SEC cancels this game. Think about it logically.

IF LSU manages to do the improbable and run the table, don't you think Alabama would be pretty pissed that we got out of playing a ranked SEC opponent on the road.

Same goes for Tennessee if they happen to drop a couple (TAMU and Alabama are obvious possibilities) and Florida wins the rest of their conference games.

New rules, Kicked balls may be played after bouncing off ceilings and walls.

Bama would have a better SEC winning % in that scenario...
