Oh back again. What is the latest you have heard about how they are feeling with Jimbo and Herman? Any updates on that end?

How would Herman be a scandal risk? Or did you mean that vs. Briles and Petrino.
Shaw just seems like a meh hire. I hope he is very happy at Stanford.

I'm not a Shaw fan at all..
But Herman, Jimbo and Shaw is not a bad 3 deep list at all.

Why on earth did they fire Les a month into the season without having a coach in pocket? If Jimbo was first pick, he has close ties with LSU. Why run the risk of becoming a laughingstock by going about it how they did? Putting the players through turmoil, and not have a coach at least close to locked in?

Hell no to Shaw. No more boring arse pro style offense. At least with a guy like Jimbo his pro style isn't out of the 70s, but I really don't want pro style TBH.
LSU needs a guy that can take spread QBs from Louisiana and Texas, and beat the f**k out of Bama. Since the 9-6 game where they missed like 5 FGs, Saban hasn't lost to a pro style offense. Saban has lost to, however, several different forms of spread.

This guy would be Trent Johnson part II. Good coach at a private school on the west coast. He would not be a fit at LSU and/or Louisiana. Far different recruits and culture.

This would be just an absolutely terrible hire. What "ties" does he have in Texas? He has either been in Cali or the far northeast.
Doesnt seem like he would fit the culture, hasnt recruited in the southeast, knows nothing about the SEC, and runs the same offense Les did.
No better pedigree/resume than what we just got rid of. I dont get it at all.
