If you want to listen, click on "interviews" and then click on RR's picture.
Dan goes after him a little bit.

I really used to enjoy listening him on ESPN radio, but he's not as entertaining as he used to be. He questions Coach Rodriguez about his loyalties and his contract, but it seems like Dan Patrick left ESPN on his own vilition to pursue other opportunities. Can't throw rocks and live in a glass house.
Also, there's no comparison to me between Petrino and Rodriguez. That's my two cents.

Dan almost insinuates, at least to me, that RR is sorry for leaving WV after how their regular season ended.
Did RR make up a bunch of excuses about the WV administration not living up to certain promises just to go to UM? I don't know. Did the WV officials break some promises? I don't know.
There's just so many emotions in this situation. I feel for those WV fans, I really do.
It's hard to turn down Michigan, when you're not at a top program already. You can walk in a recruit's home anywhere in the country with that block "M" on your cap and get his attention. I'm sure it was a very difficult decision for RR because he leaves his parents in WV and a bunch of friends.

Dan Patrick tried the same BS with Miles.

I can never remember how to spell his last name. And since I don't feel like taking crap and spelling/grammar lessons on a forum, "RR" or "Coach Rod" works just fine for me.

Our last coach was named "Carr". We're a bit spoiled with easy last names, Rodriguez will take some time to adjust ;)

Dan Patrick (DP
) can kiss my arse...
he attacks him like he's from WVU ...is he?....the man moved on to a new job....let him go wvu....quit crying and go win your bowl game....don't blame RR so much as your own Athletic Department. they were trying to see how far they could push before it was too much and whoops they pushed too much. Future notice if you want to be considered a top tier team for the rest of your lives get to tier equipment and facilities and win as many games as you can, Michigan is a top tier team and has all the amenities you could want and the past to prove they are and will continue to be a great college football team, that is why you're beloved coach left his alma mater and came to his new home.

Is that a Mexican radio station.

Didn't Patrick quit ESPN like a few months ago and now he has a radio show on another network?
...Dan might need to check himself on this particular subject...

But, you just don't turn down Michigan.
Really? Miles did

Miles never had an offer to turn down, at least not to my knowledge. I think if some things had gone differently, he'd have gone to UM.
As for Schiano, there are some conflicting reports on whether or not he got an offer, but he decided he was staying at Rutgers, so I guess he turned them down.
Not sure if Ferentz ever entertained any official offers. Not sure if talks ever got that far.

I wish I was in Tijuana
Eating barbequed iguana
I'd take requests on the telephone
I'm on a wavelength far from home
I feel a hot wind on my shoulder
I dial it in from south of the border
I hear the talking of the DJ
Can't understand just what does he say?
I'm on a mexican radio
I'm on a mexican radio

Wall of voodoo

If RR were coming to an SEC program, like Bama for example, you'd think he was Satan incarnate.
The double standard when comparing RR and Petrino in the media is just astounding.
Oh yeah, I forgot-- it' MIchigan; you just can't turn down Michigan; it's okay because Michigan came calling.
Michigan has an astounding history. But it is just that--history. No different than Bama.
The past is no guarantee of future success.
