so what is the benefit of it?...do they just gather up your groceries for you to pick up?...do they deliver?

There's something satisfying about walking down every aisle and creating meals on the fly.
I will say however, if I'm on a strict diet, online ordering is the way to go. Keep the temptation of buying other shite off the table.

Where are you? If our Kroger did it I may try it. But all the rotten meat and produce at ours may make it impossible
Half the chicken and veggies are damn rotten and the fruit us all like cardboard

I'm picky as shite and prefer to do all the shopping. I pick out my own damn produce and meat, plus I always check experation dates on cold shite.
I could see where lazy people would like it though. And fatties

You can thank Harris Teeter for that, once I discovered it, I cannot get away from it!

Depending on the time you usually go to the store, not having to deal with a bunch of idiots.
My normal store won't have it until after their renovation, but another near me does. I've used it a few times and like it. The problem I'm having now though is because it's only at a handful of store in the city, you have to reserve a time 3-4 days out.
