So let it be written.....

I love how everyone is so sure what is going to happen based on their self perceived insight.

This thread has absolutely NOTHING to do with Bo as a head coach.

I have you talking about it.

Dave Aranda or Bo Pelini will be DC next year.

So, you think Bo's temper is a healthy thing for LSU? Are you saying that as DC he can never adversely influence a game?

Explain how great Bo will be for LSU in any capacity with his documented toxicity.

. I don't see the hype that Aranda brings. Thought our defense would have been better.

He's installing a new scheme and has a proven track record so he deserves patience.

Pelini's defenses didn't look so good at Nebraska. I think he's great against pro style power offenses but struggles against spread teams like the Big 12 had. So I don't know about him anymore.

Florida State ain't letting Jimbo Fisher go! Y'all need to get that out of your head. And I wouldn't want Pelini back anyways. Dude doesn't belive in blitzing, cost LSU that game against Arky on their second loss at home when they won the NC in 2007. Refused to blitz Arky on that 4th down when they tied the game to send it into OT.

Bo's defense collapsed against a lot of teams in 2007 but I can't say he didn't believe in blitzes. His 2005 and 2006 defenses wrecked. But his defenses were bad at Nebraska.

He didn't blitz, man. I watched his D's while he was with LSU. Preached a lot of read and react styled defenses. Patience with his DLinemen dropping into coverage sometimes. shite, Chavis continued that type of D when he took his place. I never liked those styles of defenses, but LSU's great athletes made them work which is why him and Chavis were praised when they were at LSU. It had nothing to do with them, but all to do with the players. I prefer attacking defenses like Saban had LSU playing and now has Alabama playing. Don't dick around! Use these great athletes to go and get them.

going back to that Arkansas game. If Pelini had called just one blitz on that last Arkansas series, especially the 4th down when the QB had so much time in the pocket he finally found an open RB out in the flat to pick up the first down to keep the drive alive. Pelini blitzes, game over and LSU don't finish as the first 2 loss NC.

Herman has a pretty damn good defensive staff at UH. I don't see why people think it'd be a given he'd leave them behind if he were to come to LSU.

Posters like you exemplify what's wrong with this board and people in general nowadays.

You didn't take the time to read the OP, yet you jump in and make a straw man argument. When multiple posters point out your mistake, instead of stepping back and accepting accountability, you double down on your idiocy and then pat yourself on the back. Terrible.

Herman may well go with his current guy, who is an excellent young DC (Todd Orlando)

This bas been an interesting exercise.

I tried to point out how toxic Pelini was at any position.

You and other posters started crying that I did not use the words you thought I should use.

I was easily able to manipulate multiple posters into crying "Learn to read".

One poster wrote "Learn to read. Bo is a great DC. Better than Chavis" long after I posted my link. Either he did not bother to read my link or his reading comprehension is seriously lacking.

And you wrote "you exemplify what's wrong with this board".

You need to look in the mirror.

Bo Pelini's final speech to the Husker players

Pelini slams Eichorst in vulgar talk during final meeting with players, says A.D. 'has no integrity'
quote:

“His habitual use of inappropriate language, and his personal and professional attacks on administrators, are antithetical to the values of our university. His behavior is consistent with a pattern of unprofessional, disrespectful behavior directed by Mr. Pelini toward the passionate fans of Nebraska, employees of the university and, most concerning, our student-athletes.
