Wanted to remember and commend our local law enforcement for handling the protests in BR. They are an example that all other agencies should follow. They never once allowed those savages take over the city like they have done in most other cities. They did not take an ounce of BS from any of them. They arrested them with quickness as they should. To watch onTV how much abuse they are taking from the
rioters in NC is a shame an embarrassment to those other city leaders.

On behalf of those of us who got window tint and inspection sticker tickets this morning at the checkpoint in mid city, we strongly disagree.

I'm shooting the bird at every blacked out BRPD unit I see

I thought it was just giving kids room in case they wished to destroy... No biggie.

I believe that credit should also be given to the family of Alton Sterling who, after the incident, called for an investigation and justice for their relative, but also stressed that they did not want violence, looting etc. I believe that their reaction to the tragedy was very important in keeping the protests civil.

Our guys control the streets and thats important. A lot of these shootings, the police have given them space to "express themselves" and their versions of self expression is typically violent .
