Use a local company. You can get the same system for less money usually. I use Acadiana Security Plus here in Lafayette.

ADT threatened to come into my house and take the system out. The contract was in the previous owners names...
And they were both dead.
They literally said they would pull the wiring from the walls.

We have had Vivint for about 3yrs without problems - easy install and wireless which is nice. We are at the end of our contract but will keep using them.

I have Vivint. I like the technology. ADT was too low tech for the price.

Is Acadian Home Security available? If so I would go with them. I've had 12 happy years with only 1 rate hike in that span.
