I know it's a little early, but I'll be going down to College Station with the family for the Thanksgiving game and looking for good spot to stay. The AirBnB assortment is lacking at the moment. Does anyone know of any good locations that are good for opposing fans not too far from the action? We are looking to stay 2 nights: Wednesday and Thursday.

Houston. There are a few choices there, but I bet they will be hard to book. Who knows though due to the fact it is Thanksgiving. Look up college station hotels. Standard hotels in the area. I'm

If you are wanting to stay close with nothing to do.... look at the Holiday Inn Express in Hearne Tx. Its about 40 miles from BCS. If you want something to do then i would say Houston or Austin are good places to stay.

If you haven't booked lodging for the A&M game and want to stay at or near College Station, it's probably too late to find anything worthwild. Not a large town and places fill up fast.

Thought about Houston, but sleeping after the game seems to pose a problem. We all like to drink so driving 1.5 hours after seems tough.

If you stay on the Northwest side of Houston (Cypress) you are only about 60 minutes depending on traffic from Kyle field.

I think an Uber is around $150. Cheaper than a DWI and probably about the same as a hotel room if you can still find one in CS.

stay in Brenham. It's only 35-45 min away and a very nice and clean community. Lived there for 8 years.
Take 105 east 3 miles left on Why 50 go to you hit hwy60 right and you run into College Station

Great restaurants and lots of beer. Brenham is an old German community. Very little traffic until you get into CS

Don't support the stupid Aggie tradition. Boycott with the rest of us.
