I've never ripped my shirt off, punched holes in the wall, beat the dog, etc.

The two games that pissed me off the most were:

LSU-UCLA, 2006 - I'm not sure if they could have gotten past Florida, but I really, really wanted that team to win it all.

Saints-49ers, 2011 - frick Vernon Davis and Alex Smith.

--

ETA: LSU-Alabama in the National Championship really wasn't too bad for me. It was such a boring game and LSU's offense was so putrid that I could tell we didn't even have a chance against Alabama. We really didn't have anything to melt about as it was apparent from the get go that Saban has "figured out" the LSU offense and the game was essentially over shortly after kickoff.

Saints loss to SF in divisional playoff.

Was setting up perfect. The Giants would have had to travel to NOLA that year for the NFCCG.

frick you Vernon Davis.

Personally a JV game loss. Game won. But still needed to run put the clock. Snap fumbled then slapped into the air like a tard. Defensive end caught it on the run.

My fat little tackles feet couldn't catch him

Wisconsin/ASU in 2013 or Wisconsin/Northwestern in 2015. Both had me wishing terrible things upon referees.

Was surprisingly calm after Blair Walsh shanked the game-winning FG last season in the playoffs.

Braves:
Losing to the Astros in the 2005 playoffs by blowing a huge lead and then going 19 innings.

Losing to LA in the playoffs by giving up a homer to Juan frickin Uribe with Kimbrel on the bench.

Losing to the Cards in the playoffs b/c of that "infield fly rule"

Losing to the Giants after taking a 2-1 lead off of a Hinske PH HR only to then blow it in the 9th inning.

Georgia Tech football:
2015 Loss to UGA - scored a late TD to make it 13-7 and then allowing UGA to complete a long pass to a TE from their own 7 to essentially ensure a win by running out the clock.

2013 Loss to UGA - losing in 2OT after having a 20-0 lead at one point.

2010 Loss to UGA - losing to pathetic UGA team because we missed an extra point after scoring a TD to get within 1 point. We were forced to basically let them score in order to get the ball back.

2009 Loss to UGA - losing to another pathetic UGA team led by Joe Cox. Demaryius Thomas dropped a wide open 4th down ball that would have given us 1st down in the redzone on the last drive for a game winning score.

2007 Loss to UGA - down by 2, UGA fumbled or threw an INT and we returned it back to the goal line but Morgan Burnett fumbled into the endzone for a touchback. Huge momentum shift.

2006 Loss to UGA - Stafford was a freshman and our defense dominated the game. Up 6-0 in the 3rd there was a big pile up on a GT run. One ref is running into the pile with hand up and somehow a UGA player pulls the ball out of the huge pile and runs it back for a TD. GT takes the lead and then gives up a huge TD drive to Stafford.

2005 Loss to UGA - tied 7-7 and gave up a late TD to UGA. Reggie Ball throws red zone INT after mounting a huge drive to that point.

2004 Loss to UGA - Reggie Ball throws out of bounds on 4th down on game winning (or tying?) drive. No more words needed.

Dammit, I'm starting to melt again. These losses compound on each other over time which is then made even worse by the fact that we go longs stretches without beating them.

Was at this awesome Saints bar in Chicago watching that game. Place was going nuts, full on Stand Up And Get Crunk blaring with sloots everywhere dancing on the bars.

Then Vernon Davis happened and the whole place went silent.

This massive dude stood up after about 3 seconds of shellshocked silence by everyone, hummed his liquor drink at the wall, yelled FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK and jsut walked out.

2007 Super Bowl.

I still die a little inside every single time they show the helmet catch. fricking Chris Collinsworth almost made me vomit during the last Championship because he couldn't stop bringing it up during the game. We get it, every freaking time a weird play happens ZOMG 2007.

Delhomme's 6 TOs vs the Cardinals. This was a week after the Utah Sugar Bowl loss so I was already kinda on the edge.

I'm glad it happened though cause I realized just how overly emotional I was about sports.

I don't really "melt". I just like shut down. I don't want to talk about it, I don't wanna watch any post game or high lights, and if it's really bad or season ending, I usually don't watch sports TV for a while All while in my head I'm just disecting every play from the game and what went wrong. Eventually once I've recovered someone will ask me about it and I'll pour out like 2 hours of analysis of the game and they'll look confused as I'll bring up a 2nd down run in the 3rd QB as evidence as to why something happened

All of this. Packers NFC championship loss to the Seahawks

Bama 2012. We were supposed to have redemption after 1/9. The stadium was as electric as it's ever been pregame was great the whole game week was great, lsu had victory in its grasp it was all perfect and boom. Yeldon. Screen.

I'm a big partier. I usually party post game no matter what the result but after that one I left the stadium not uttering a single word, drove home and went straight to bed. It was worse than 1/9 for me
