We cheer for a qb who went 6/14?

Wasn't he 6/8 at the half?

ETA: nailed it!

When I got home from the game the stat line shocked me, but I forgot how horrible Dupre looked

He was like 6/8 for 100 yards in the 2nd quarter.

They went really conservative in the second half which is what led to the stat line you see.

I mean, he only threw the ball 6 times in the entire second half.

SIX times! They were being extremely conservative.

He threw a lot of deep passes. You can't expect to complete most of those.

I thought he did pretty good for his first start in 2 years.

It's not about the stat line. If you watched the game you saw how good he looked.

Anyone with eyes could tell he's not the answer based on second half. The more film teams get on him the worse he's going to look. His offensive line is also atrocious. Don't forget Harris looked amazing coming in for a bad Jennings and was lightning the world on fire...then looked horrible when he played against Auburn.

Welcome to the Les Miles and rant cycle. Rant always wants next QB off the bench. They see potential in an extremely mediocre stat line for the QB. Few weeks later they want the next QB off the bench. Cycle continues.

Etling is not the answer and it will never improve until Les is gone. It's the entire philosophy and system LSU runs under him. His QBs are not put in a position to succeed.

Imagine how bad it would have been if Harris stayed in. He couldn't hit the side of a barn.

Your Qb doesn't have to throw the ball much when your RB's are shredding the defense........... How many rushing yards in the game?

It's not his numbers that excite me. It's the game management and a control of the offense that hasn't been seen in years.
