yes.

1. You are down by 2 with 1:00 left in the game with one timeout remaining.

and now the les fan boys are driving the bus over the players, instead of looking at the root cause of why we were fricking down.

ARe u putting that loss, that fiasco of a loss on that one play? Just curious.

None of my business but Anthony Jennings playing for ULL was 21/33 for 186 yards, 1 TD, no ints, ran 16 for 18 yards. This was against a pretty strong Boise State team.
Just saying....

The point is, Harris should have never been in that situation to throw a pick at the end! We should have had the game won by that time...

Les covered this in the presser saying that Brandon Harris threw a TD on exact broken play in practice.

Penalty that put them from the 30 to the 35 and then letting a QB who had a aweful day throw the ball when you have 2 beast for running backs.

I'll continue to pump this stat for each and everyone of these dumb threads
58, 4 and 5* for LSU.......8 for UW. It's all about coaching.

It was Les' terrible game plan that got Brandon in the position to do what he did. That was one play of a horribly coached football game. Stop trying to put this on a player, when the guy making $4.4-million can't effectively coach an offense.

If it's the QB, then where's the competition? If a running back fumbles, next man up. If a receiver gets the drops, next man up. If a DB gets burned and misses tackles, next man up. There is no next man up for the QB. Competition makes players get better. The Coach must make sure all players feel the anxiety of competition for playing time.

Had we not run the same shite show in the first half, we would NEVER have been down at the end of the game.

This is 100% coaching. You are focusing on one play.
1. Got blown off the ball on both lines of scrimmage all day long.
2. Game shouldn't have even been close.
3. Continue to ask BH to do things he's not good at in preference to things he is good at.
4. Can't ID & address even simple issues like out of bounds KOs or timely getting plays to the huddle.
He just isn't (and never has been) a top notch coach.
Bama btfo USC and Saban's post-game comments were about what they need to do to get better.
Fisher's comments were the same after last night's game.
Miles comments after a defeat or sloppy win are all about the things he did right. Not once have I ever heard him man up and say "folks, I had a bad game plan and won't happen again".
Today's pc he basically threw BH under the bus (which most of this board roasted PMaineri for) and blamed everything else on injuries. As if the other FBS teams didn't have "nicks" in fall camp.
If we had completed 5 more passes we'd have 5 more completions?!?
WTF?!?
If we had called a jet sweep to Chark or screen pass to Guice, maybe every single person in the world wouldn't have known the first play would be that worthless, asinine toss dive left like it is every single damn game.

Blame a 20 yr old and not the coaches making millions to put him in the best position to succeed...yeh you're a piece of shite...better coaching and he wouldn't have been in that situation

For a long time I've given Miles the benefit of the doubt. For way too long. Partly because of his personality and partly because he has won a lot of games. But looking back even when we win, most of the time, it hasn't been fun to watch. It's like driving down an ice covered interstate. It's miserable, tense and you're gritting your teeth the entire time and you get completely worn out from the experience. In the end, when it's over you're just glad to still be alive. I'm tired of lucking into wins and finding a way to win based off talent. I want to get back to dominating. And for that we need a dynamic coach who can make changes to his game plan during the game.

Take your "save Les Miles" shite and stuff it up your arse. The rest of us (the true LSU fans) have had enough of him.
Posted on 9/6/16 at 8:00 pm to chilge1
This is way more than that last drive. He's getting killed for the whole game. Even if we had won he'd still get slammed
Posted on 9/6/16 at 8:04 pm to chilge1
We need an "RA for Miles apologist" or " RA for another Miles excuse" option
Posted on 9/6/16 at 8:08 pm to chilge1
Because we were suppose to see a new offense. But instead we saw the same old offense we've seen since miles got here. Everyone watching the game knew the first play was going to be a run. Why not run a play action? Even if Harris can't hit wide open wrs. Atleast it would have been something the defense wasn't planning on seeing.
