When he slapped him with the money afterwards.
I thought the whole club sequence was great, especially the conversation with the bartender and the VIP stuff.

I liked how after they beat the owner up and walked out he was like "that man is gonna be a star!"
It also made me realize I could never be an agent or talent rep, I feel like I'd be like Ern and get run over too much.

My fiance doesn't like the show but even she was losing it the last two episodes. To people who watch the show and don't get it, you definitely need to give more episodes a shot. The one with the girl and the drug test hit close to home for me. lol'

This spooky thing called slavery happened and it kinda messed up my ethnic identity
It all takes place at a strip club. Two gang bangers hold a pastor, a drug dealer, and a pregnant teen hostage in the middle of hurricane katrina....that's a real situation, I'm glad that story is being told

Just had a chance to watch the first few episodes. It is good. Real good. Paper boi might be my favorite.

Funniest show on TV, glad to see you don't need to have lived there for it to resonate. Glover is brilliant, had no idea. Just noticed their buddy was snoop dog in straight out of Compton.

I'm going to miss getting a glimpse of the life of darius

I loved his pause and look around like "oh shite" once he got out the car.
Excellent show. I guess he didn't really want the jacket, he just wanted the key inside of it.

Any word on if it's been renewed for season 2?

People are so stuck on the plot that they overlook the real story that's being told. Who cares if Paperboi makes it big in the rap game. That's not really relevant.

I leave every episode feeling like Glover is making a strong social commentary.
No blame is being assigned....just general commentary on outward and inward struggles the black community has.
