Based on what I saw, this season is shot because this offense won't put our team in position to compete for a SEC title. I made the following post immediately after the game in the Scoreboard forum and I'm sticking to it for the remainder of the season....

To hell with LSU football while Miles is the head coach. I've waited for months in anticipation for them to march out a title contending team and this is the performance he puts together. Man frick this shite. I'm done! No more of my money is going to TAF or paying $40 parking fees until a change is made.

I'm all for showing/not showing your support however you wish, but skipping the game is not supporting the players. Sorry.

Here is the solution... go to the game, support the defense by screaming loudly, buy concessions, tailgate... etc. However, on the first offensive play of every drive, the entire 102k in attendance should turn their backs on the field. It is a strong image. Ex: NYC police turn their backs to the Mayor.

I don't pay to park, and I will most likely get a really cheap ticket or one for free this Saturday.

I know losing sucks, but it isn't the players fault. I won't abandon my fandom to have a coach fired. I was going to games back when we sucked as well. I'm in it for life.

your supporting the young players, future players, and the program by doing what you can to get rid of miles.

You're really going to show the administration what's up when they already have your money.
So you're on the record now that you're dropping your tickets if Miles isn't fired?

Nah...it's all you're WILLING to do. And like I said...I get it. You're not interested in giving up cherished seats for when things turn around or change in such a fashion so as to make you interested again.

You and everyone that feels the same way as you do could have made an immediate impact this past spring when season ticket renewals went out had you simply told the LSU Ticket Office to go piss up a rope and that you'd no longer be buying tickets while Miles was head coach. That's an actual fire lit underneath them. But that would have required sacrificing your tickets to make that point...

Honestly missing the games is not much of a sacrifice, its bad football

At times, it's wildly frustrating. As positive as I have been even I would describe LSU's offense over the years as a bus on fire.

But personally...my biggest gripe always revolve around unhappy fans more so than anythings seen or unseen on the field.

But...I support your idea of staying away if you're that unhappy. You'll be happier not having to sit through what you hate watching and I'll be happier not having to sit near someone unhappy the whole game who will only be made happier if I TOO am as unhappy as he.

Win - Win!

Life is too short not to enjoy games in Tiger Stadium
Do you really enjoy these games the way Les Miles forces LSU to play. I think he must be some kind of anxiety or adrenaline junkie who thrives only when things remain in doubt. The slow starts, the low scoring, the keeping weaker opponents in the game long enough to give us all another scare, the struggles to come from behind against equal or superior opponents, or to keep them from grabbing the lead and winning late in the 4th qtr is not my idea of fun. Nor is it the style of LSU football any of us but the youngest ones here grew up enjoying. This kind of play is not the LSU tradition I know and love.

It almost like some perverted form of sado-masochism to coach ultra-talented athletes to play this way and/or to be forced to watch such games.

I stopped. I'll go to the one big game per year at home which we end up blowing anyway.

It doesn't work because I still have the tix....

I'm sorry, but to get this abomination of a salary to these underperforming coaches, LSU has taken so much of the enjoyment away....with all the fees, parking, tailgating regulations, traffic, etc etc etc

We pay 6 MILLION per year to Les and Cameron. And what do we get that ANY decent high school coach couldn't do?
We get to hear les tell us the ducking discharge has trouble getting information and he might be better off in the press box!! What the frick? These guys have 40 yrs experience, and now they're going to duck us in the arse and tell us maybe they figured out it's better for him to move up?

Why anyone on this planet would give any thought that he is honest and trustworthy is beyond my comprehension.
He's a liar, a bad one at that.
And, lets not forget when we got arse raped and held hostage for a raise by a threat that his lifetime friend at Army was gonna steal him!

I'm absolutely convinced that if Miles didn't show up at practice for a week, we would improve drastically.

Have y'all posted your tickets on the ticket exchange yet? If so, I'm interested in a few games. My kids have zero concern about the "noise from the perimeter." They just want to cheer the Tigers to "victory" and support the "quality" young men representing the fine institution.

I would not sell them for any amount on money.

An empty seat is not going to show them. They've already got your money.

call and tell them you are cancelling your renewal for next year. THAT will show them.

Every empty seat is about $20 in concessions missed. It will add up.
