What is the point in these "Fire Miles" posts? You know Miles is not going to be fired before the end of season unless LSU goes 0-6 and they are not going to lose 6 games in a row. Until then support your team and enjoy the games.

If that's true, then we have to hope for 0-6. Curse the power players for putting us in that position.

Kind of hard to enjoy watching your team get their sh*t pushed in, unless you are into that sort of thing.

People are pretty apathetic and over it now. No one cares enough to melt.

I knew this season would be like this... Just a lame duck season while we wait for the next direction/leader for the Tigers. What a wasted season with all this talent.

Hell Neaux the melt is not over. It has only begun. You can pull for out team and still melt. Hell to the neaux the melt ain't over and only makes me more madder when I hear Kirk and Chris talk about how well these true Freshman QBs have all played over the weekend at FSU, Texas, Georgia, Alabama. No sir I haven't forgotten.

I like the fact that we the fans have been held hostage by having to watch this shitshow offense for like the last 6 out of 7 years. Sure your say well quit watching them. Not that easy since i have been watching LSU faithfully for the last 30 years. I'm drained and want to quite but i cant because i do support this team just not Les Miles ANYMORE!!

Hell no!!! Just asking for this team to bring their "A" game and good execution to the field. Miles is responsible for holding this team accountable for being ready to play and this process starts in the spring. Attention to detail is a big deal for proper execution. If these things are done then opening up the offense can take place.

If this is done and we still get beat, then just shake their hand and learn from it. As of now the LSU product is severely flawed....7-5

A couple things here:

First:

quote:

What is the point in these "Fire Miles" posts?

The point is that Miles was this close to being fired last year, but Tiger fans pulled together and saved his job. He told everyone that he'd open up the offense, including those who agreed not to can him, and he hasn't changed a thing.

It's still the same archaic offense we've been running for years. His stubbornness has got him in the fix he's currently in. He refuses to change.

Furthermore, he isn't coaching his players to the best of their ability. Harris could be a really good QB but Cam isn't teaching him, Miles isn't helping, what else can the kid do? No wonder he got so frustrated.

These kids can only play on instinct so much, the rest is up to the coaches to coach them up. Miles isn't doing that.

People feel betrayed and also are fed up with these empty promises. How many times has Miles said, "We just need to execute better." We're on year number what of that? As I said, same ole, same ole.

I don't hate Miles, I love the man, he's an absolute gem but on Saturdays, I'm out of patience.

Secondly:

quote:

support your team

I haven't seen anyone dump on any of the players for our performance. People are fed up with Miles having talent and I mean talent that other teams dream of having and scrapping and fighting to play in lesser bowls. But I digress, I haven't seen anyone rip the players.

quote:

enjoy the games.

People are fed up. Makes it hard to enjoy them when they all look the same. We're actually nervous about a rent a win game. How sad is that?

I'll always be grateful for Miles coming here and the national championship he coached the Tigers too, other great games too but the game has passed him by. Time for a change.

Fire Miles, Fire Miles, Fire Miles

If this is what you call a melt, then no, it's not over and won't be over until he is removed.

Never seen a more unified front from the TD faithful than we are seeing now. About time everyone came around and took their head out of their arse.

It'll be a while.

A new game with a win will give LSU something more to talk about..

If LSU beats Auburn.. things may start to get better.. if they then beat Florida.. people may start to get excited about the season again.. of course many, rightfully so.. will remain skeptical.. so to answer you, no.. the melt isn't going any where any time soon.

Beware the onset of silent apathy, for then you will know nobody cares any more and that LSU football is dead.
