BIG 10 fans have done nothing but put down BIG EAST teams for a long time. Funny that RR is headed to Michigan.
I feel bad for the WVU players. Tough year for the Mountaineers.

Easier path to the BCS championship at UM than WV. Beat Ohio st. and win the "suck 10" and go to the rose bowl or play for the national championship. At WV they had to win the "big least" and get a lot of help to make it. This year really proved that to RR. He saw Ohio back into the game he should have been in.

Wow, first WV chokes to Pitt, then they let their coach go to Michigan, ending any slim chance we'll lose our coach. These people are making some great moves to benefit the Tigers, lol.

As an Arkansas fan, I'd like to personally express my disgust with both RR and Michigan. They obviously are both complicit in an under-handed, behind-the-scenes, relationship that is so disgusting and disturbing that I would suggest NO FB recruits ever play in AnnArbor.

I'm sure the talking heads on ESPN AND my fellow posters on the Rant will agree with me wholeheartedly and write strong letters and emails to all parties involved

Thank you,

A concerned Hog fan

UM admin on the board I've been reading says that Les was supposed to meet with Bill Martin and Coleman on Thursday, but Les scratched it because he didn't think they could meet without him being seen.

so if west virginia had just beat pitt, and made the nat'l championship instead of us, we would have lost our coach instead of them? yeah pitt. yeah.

Why would he leave WVU? I thought he was alum there (not sure though) and has obviosuly done pretty well? All for an offer he can't refuse? I wonder how much WVU counter-offered? I can't imagine being swayed away if it wasn't that much of a difference. Alabama couldn't sway him last year and that seemed to be a considerable pay raise. Maybe he realizes he is losing his big names? How is WVU's recruiting class this year?

Well, if you believe what you read on the internet, things were not peachy between RR and the WVU AD. Even though his pay was good, the changes to the facilities weren't happening. No idea if it's true or not but, as I said elsewhere on this board, being an alumnus doesn't necessarily mean anything.

I'm excited about this hire but will be surprised if he doesn't bolt in a couple years. Hopefully we'll get a new direction in AA and remember that you don't have to live in the past to benefit from history's lessons. We'll see.

Anyone think Greeny, Bayless, and Herbie (hell even ESPN for covering for Herbie) will say they were WRONG?
