False. After an hour you could hit 4-5 more light cycles you would normally not hit. That, plus speed, is actually 10-15 more minutes, assuming you don't hit compounding slower traffic and stop signs.

But that song is The Macarena and I'll fricking cut you.

And if you're ahead of them, that one less song. So good job on not making a point.

Or, they could be driving faster, and I could get to my destination minus 2 songs on the radio.
Assuming 3 mins each song, that's 6 mins per one way. On a two way commute to and from work, that's 12 mins a day, 5 days a week, 49 weeks a year (52 weeks minus 3 weeks for vacation, holidays, etc...)
That's 52 hours per year I'm losing because you want to drive like a grandpa. That's an entire work week worth of time.

You do know the other lane is for passing, right?

It aggravates the hell out of me when someone goes 5-10mph under the speed limit and no one is in front of them.
FWIW, Slow drivers can be just as dangerous or more so than people that speed.

Don't care
Easy to pass
Much better than that guy going like 2-5 mph over.
Go slow or go fast. I'm either at the speed limit or flying
Today I'll be flying

When I was a teenager, I would average at least 1-2 tickets a year. It had gotten to the point that the insurance company was about to drop me. I did a lot of traffic courts. And I always prayed that the cop wouldn't show up. You know what? Every last one of them the cop showed up. So no, that's not good advice. It's a rarity if it does happen.
Oh I know. That's what I do. They don't care about how fast you're going or even the reason. They just want your money. Like another poster said, it's a tax.
I fricking hate paying them my money though. I'd rather take the cash and burn it than to give them my money. That's how much I hate it. Because I know the whole thing is a joke. So I try not to give them a reason to pull me over, which includes going the speed limit.

Some people can't stand to be passed up.
They don't want anyone excelling or achieving more than them either.

I'm an extremely aggressive driver. Almost everything pisses me off when I'm motoring along.

That's the whole point! Control! Because I know, and the 30 cars behind me know, that I am in control. And they know that I know, and I know that they know. Hahaha - it's so satisfying.

I used to be less patient about this, but witnessing a few too many accidents has changed my views.

Leave 10 minutes earlier and drive slower and safer.
