Yup I know they'll never do it but they should can ballers and bring back the brink. Ballets has zero story. At least the last episode was interesting.

I lost it when Gamby was looking at his phone and Lee asked him why he kept looking.

The last 2 have been the best each week. Don't know where it's headed, but I'm all in on this show.

The guy is a real actor; he seems to rise to the top in everything he's in. I'd argue that he was the main character in Justified.
Dude can flat out act. And his range is amazing. He can go from playing a serious role like Shane in the Shield and Boyd in Justified to Venus in SOA and Lee Russell in VP.
He was great in Hateful Eight as well.
He is underrated as hell as an actor. Maybe the most underrated out there.

The past two episodes have been incredible. Gamby impersonating that kid with the lisp after the fire alarm was the funniest part of this show. So good. Goggins is definitely the funnier cheater though.

I just watched last night's episode. That was real dark and real tough to watch. And borderline evil.

Holy shite.
This show is absolutely amazing.
It's acted, scripted, and directed so well it's ridiculous.

Both these guys have acted their parts amazingly. Never thought McBride had the chops, but you can really feel his conflict.

Every episode when I think they can't get any darker it just gets more brutal.
I think Lee Russell might be one of the most intersting characters ever created.
Everything about that dude is interesting.
His attitude, mannerisms, home life, work life, relationships.

This.
You can't keep your eyes off him when his character is on screen. Goggins has been masterful.
This show is so unpredictable. There is nothing quite like a show that, when you settle in for a new episode, you have no idea where the next 30 minutes will take you. It has been a wild and fulfilling ride.

It's extremely well written and acted. Those are real three dimensional people.
Wayne Gamby is one of those guys who is just determined to frick things up. He had a great situation -- good new relationship, about to be sole vice principal and get a raise -- and he chucked all that because he doesn't really have any friends. And Lee Russell plays all those games because he's a miserable, powerless person.
At first, my wife and I were saying it was good that Wayne and Lee teamed up against Dr. Brown, because they were just kind of drifting through life with no direction. But I think its really bad, that the whole thing has caused them to behave worse (I don't think Russell would have set Dr. Brown's house on fire if he was alone and if he wasn't in the picture, Wayne never would have gotten her drunk.)

The toughest thing to swallow about that show is the thought that a woman who looked like that would fall for a guy who looked like Danny McBride and wears clip-on ties.
At least with Eastbound & Down, April was an old high school flame. That made it a little more believable.

There is a thread on this show where people were shitting on it after the first couple of episodes, and some guy posted in it who knew someone who worked on the show.
He said wait a couple more episodes and it was going to get good. And man was he right!!

Ha, that was me. He's been working for Danny McBride and Jody Hill since they started Eastbound and Down and is now a writer's assistant. Only real contributions of note I can remember him saying they used of his were Goggans spitting in the principal's coffee and her catching him and the principal's line about taking a drink of gin on Friday waking up Monday in Arkansas covered in chiggers

Someone told us to watch this show after we finished EBAD. We only did one episode and weren't crazy about it, but that could be because of our expectations for it to just be another EBAD. Anyway, this thread has convinced me to binge it once the season is over.
I still have to get caught up on Silicon Valley. Finished Narcos last night.
