Could not snap a pic while driving over the bridge headed West today but noticed two different looking boats docked in downtown BR. Does anyone know what kind of boats these are? They were not tankers, barges, or river cruise ships.

I think one is a huge offshore dive ship that FEMA is renting for living quarters for their peeps.

They are housing boats with helo pads. For FEMA folks and other contractors.

Negative. They are outfitted with living quarters for a ton of people (so called Floatels) but FEMA isn't using them. Rumor is they were brought up with the hopes of getting FEMA to use them. Doesn't look like its going to happen.

offshore multi purpose vessels (usually dive) that are fitted with living quarters. looks like Hornbeck took a gamble and lost.
