Also, this topic has been beat the frick into the ground.

I mean the guy claimed that he couldn't go to war because of his new religious beliefs when he converted to Islam . He couldn't fight because it was against Islam, now that's funny . Now what does it do to his legacy that he just chose a religion that nobody knew about to he could claim it was against it to go to war so he could coward in America?
He also refused to go fight for "freedom" overseas when he didn't have freedom at home.

Draft dodgers go to Canada. Muhammad Ali was a conscientious objector and served his time in jail. Now get the your story straight next time.

Its not really dodging when you take the Penalty. Dodging is what Cheney or Trump or Clinton did- utilize any and every loophole possible to get out of serving and/or being penalized for doing so.

George Bush and Dick Cheney were draft dodgers and they were elected president and Vice President. I'd say it didn't affect their legacy too much.

None because his wrongful conviction was unanimously overturned by the SCOTUS.

This topic has been discussed over and over again already like a month ago. He is one of the greatest boxers of all time. If you refutr that claim because you disagreed with his politics, youre an idiot. The end.

1) It's "effect".
2) He was the greatest of all time.
3) The Louisville draft board, which was all white, picked him because he was a flashy, mouthy black guy. He was really close to being too old to go to Vietnam and his IQ test was really close to him not being eligible for the draft.
4) It took balls to do what he did. He gave up some prime years of his fighting career. But he didn't want to fight and Vietnam was a giant cluster frick.
5) You're a fricking moron. Go play in traffic

The Greatest Heavyweight of All-Time, didn't dodge the draft.
Won the Heavyweight title in 1937 against Braddock the "Cinderella Man". (Great Movie)
Fast forward 140 months and 26 title bouts, he was still the uninterpreted, undisputed, Champion of the World.
1948, he retired as Heavyweight Champion after defeating Jersey Joe Wallcott in consecutive fights.
Father time, Rocky Marciano, and IRS would catch up with him.
(after he retired, he would have to comeback and he fought 8 fights in 1951, Rocky was his only loss)
