He found it. Guy saw it under a bridge in Scotlandville and called my friend. Trolling, trailer and motor all there. Sorry about the delay. Been helping clean a friend's house out.
My buddy and I are grateful. Much thanks. Permission to call off the dogs.

Charlie Cangelosi BOAT HAS BEEN FOUND in Scotlandville, under a bridge. Someone saw it and posted it on Facebook.
The boat would not have been so quickly identified and recovered without the thousands of shares over Facebook and other social media sites. So THANK YOU THANK YOU to everyone that helped!!! Means so much to us that it was found.

When they find those frickers who stole the boat, they should execute them on the spot. People who do this kind of shite are the scum of the earth.

That sucks. Nothing lower than a thief except a thief who takes advantage of a good citizen trying to help people. I'd imagine it's not gonna be high on the police's priorities right now, though. And the water may make it I,possible to investigate. Is it insured?

I came here when my friend was in a hit and run, got the girl's plates and a dealership manager on here had all her info in 35 minutes. Hoping for some traction. The more eyes out there the better.

When the thief is found they should drag him by his ankles behind the boat trailer for about 5 miles.

I've always wondered why people leave the boat trailer sitting in a driveway without some sort of lock on the hitch.
It takes a minute for someone to drive up, connect to the trailer and drive off.

Not to sure if it's insured. It's his first boat that he's had since he was young.

Nah, drag him by his wrists behind the boat. He'll have a miserable time before he drowns.

Whoever did it needs to be doing some underwater salvage with a logging chain wrapped around them.

That sucks, but everyone with a boat should heed this message.
Lock it behind a gate or lock up the hitch.

This place has caught thieves before, I wouldn't be surprised if it happens again.

There is a special level of hell reserved for someone that would steal a boat being used for rescues
