Can't get in due to Elliot being under water.

I would imagine it's similar to Carriagewood Estates, no water in the houses.

Water is ~8' up the driveway

I live in Oak Ridge.. Elliot Rd. is completely flooded and you can only get here by boat. The neighborhood lake hasn't reached my back yard yet but about 2-3ft away. Don't have any water in the streets and hoping that the remaining backwash doesn't bring more water here.

I also live in oak ridge. Water is continuing to rise in the woods behind my house. We probably won't be able to leave Elliot for at least a few days by vehicle

Just made it out of Elliot. Barely. Water was to top of tires. And boats everywhere.
And we were on the east end of Elliot. That whole area is flooded bad.

Thanks for the update. I live on falling oak, pond side. Have been very nervous not being able to get in.

Didn't realize we had so many OTers that live in ORE. We need to set up a meet.

We got out last night while we could drive but we've been in touch with others that stayed. As of about an hour ago there was standing water in a few spots in the street. I think if the river crests where they think it will, it will be close to the houses but should be ok. Hopefully it crests lower than forecast just to ease our minds.

To think, it took a 500 year flood to fill that "lake".

Left at 6am. Anyone know is the water from the service lane under the power lines has started coming up the yards?

LOL, I hate that lake and don't even live on the lake side. Rained hard here a minute ago. Water has come up a little more in the woods.

Got word from neighbor that stayed behind. Water got high but houses seem to have stayed dry. Fire dept said at most water will rise a few more inches. We should be ok.

We lost power around 3:30 so we decided to leave and head to my in-laws. The water in the lake hadn't risen much since this morning but the entrances have gone up a bit. I really don't think water will reach the my house. Gonna ride by tomorrow in a boat to check it out.
