We left around 630 this morning and we have some friends who stayed back. He just told me the lake is just above the fence lines on bean ridge. I am on falling oak and waiting for an update from him. The water in the front of beach ridge hasn't reached the houses yet but is at sidewalk level at the very beginning of beach ridge.

I live on beech ridge and was told the water wasn't at the houses and likely wouldn't reach them.

Got a picture of the neighborhood about 30 minutes ago and no water to the houses. Lake is just past the fences.

Just got an update from a guy that lives on beech ridge. He said that water did not make it into ANY of the houses and the water appears to be going down. Still no power. Based on predictions, we might be able to get back into our houses either tomorrow or Wed.

Appreciate the update! I'm going to get over there sometime today and check things out.

I'm here and did not leave. I can confirm that no houses took on water. It got uncomfortably close for a while but the water stopped rising sometime yesterday evening and has dropped about 10" to a foot so far.

Can someone please update when Elliot is passable and/or the power comes back on?
Thank you all for the invaluable updates to give us outside the neighborhood some peace of mind.

Does anyone have a clue when the power might come back on? I'm guessing our Demco station is the one over by tiger bend.
I know they shut the power off as opposed to getting flooded and having it knocked out. Just curious if anyone knows what they usually wait for before turning back on

My wife has a group text going and there's a guy that's still there in it. He's supposed to let us know when power comes back on but from what I'm hearing, it won't be until the water goes down enough to be off the road all the way down to tiger bend. I need to be in that area later and I was going to try to see how close I could get but based on what traffic is looking like, I don't know how possible that will end up being.
