Read this I linked it last year as well. Over a 24 year span consisting of 6000 NFL games, the average difference between the spread and the actual final score in the NFL was 10 points. The highest single season difference in one individual season was 11 while the lowest was 9. This is why books allow teasers and also why it is a horrible idea to bet them, especially when considering the juice. Given the amount of blowouts in NCAA, that number is even higher for college games

not going to disagree. my point was that your average total in a college football game is about 50 points or so, whereas its maybe 40 in the nfl. However, an nfl and a college football teaser is structured the same (same points and juice). The 6, 7 or 13 points you are teasing in the nfl are worth more, and thus if i was doing a teaser, id much rather utilize it for an nfl game.

How is Auburn getting steamed? Jordan Hare will be rocking, I get that, but they're in complete disarray down there. They've got no quarterback, Jovon Robinson is gone, etc. etc. I know there's talent on that roster, but there's no way Auburn matches Watson on the offensive side of the ball. Super square bet, but I see this as a 35-24 type of game and that's if Auburn plays well. If you're planning on backing Clemson, I think the play is buying it down to 6.5 to get it below the key number. No way it drops below 7

I think it's off the books at the moment, but take a look at Cincinatti -26.5 vs UT Martin. Tuberville runs an Air Raid these days, Gunner Kiel is still on that roster and they're gonna throw it a lot

Been watching Auburn and UNC for a while, obviously. One that's come on to the radar is Ucla. Those three are looking like the Week 1 card pending number and price.
