no way i would want to be in today's military.
have a buddy who's still in and he's miserable. he's done 15 already, so just doing 5 more.

None of that is the even the slightest bit difficult. They should take that list and make it twice as hard.

Its just a baseline to keep weak bodies out. And its more than they had before so its a step in the right direction

My wife and I saw the writing on the wall and bailed after 5 years for me/4 for her.
Hell no both of my parents were military officers as well and both of them say no way in hell they'd join today's military. Crying shame what it's turned into in so many quarters.

I've worked with elements of the 75th Ranger regiment and the 2nd Special Forces Unit during my last deployment to Afghanistan (Kunar) back in 09 and they were the epitome of professionals. We had zero women going out on patrol due to the female constraints on combat MOS'. Mostly, the women soldiers had admin/ REMF roles in my BN.
