As a labor and employment lawyer, this is a terminable offense at most "sophisticated" employers. If you have as an employer on your FB page and make these types of inflammatory comments, the employer most time will fire the employee if they know about it. Most times, if you tag your employer on FB, the employer will get notifications of inflammatory comments that the employee made. In this case, while her post may not have triggered any filtered words, if her employer got wind of this they would absolutely terminate her. That would be my recommendation no doubt.

OP's title is wrong. She didn't blame the police.

Say what you want about her decision to try to get through the water, but a firetruck should have been sent out there so that they could have turned on the fire hose and added more water (after making sure the children were safe, of course).
