That's what you see when you follow me on the highway.

she was tailgating a pickup truck in the lefthand lane. did you watch the video? tractor trailers weren't involved until she slammed into the one in the righthand lane after losing control.
WTF does that have to do with anything I just said?

that had nothing to do with what happened in the video

This particular stretch of road is a pain in the arse because there are really long inclines that the 18 wheelers get bogged down on. And, of course, they never want to get in the right lane so they essentially ride side by side and back up traffic.
The wreck I mentioned that happened here in B'ham was on what is basically an old backroad. Lots of sharp curves and lots of hills. In other words, a terrible place to tailgate a vehicle, especially if you're on a bike like that guy was. Now he's just a warning to others.

This is stupid, even for you

I'm glad the cat is ok. In my experience, they hate getting in cars.

I wish this same fate on all tailgaters.

so they do have wrecks outside of BR
If this happened in BR it would shut the city down for days.

I always wait until the last millisecond to avoid road hazards to force the creep tailgating me to run over it.
Had an 18-wheeler on my arse going downhill last night run right over a square bale of hay in the road. I thought for sure it would've derailed him, but alas, no.

I've never understood the need to tailgate.
1. Lessens your visibility
2. Lessens your available reaction time
3. Increases the chance to involve multiple vehicles
Makes perfect sense.

There was a cat traveling in the car, as well. AZ DPS said the driver reported the cat was not injured.
Not sure why but this made me laugh.

Well we KNOW the cat wanted to land on its feet but kept getting confused as the car flipped....Either way, you know when it was over the cat was aloof and maintained its air of superiority.
Posted on 8/9/16 at 7:14 am to LCA131
1st thing the cat did was stick it's arse in the driver's face.
Posted on 8/9/16 at 7:22 am to tidalmouse
Perhaps the guy in the left lane was going slow? No need to tailgate but slow drivers in the passing lane are frustrating.

It's amazing how often someone can walk away from an accident like this with minor injuries. But, if you bump them going 10 mph they will treat with a chiro/PT for 6+ months for neck & back injuries.
