Oh my review is coming. It will be glorious. I kinda hope this movie sucks so it will accelerate Snyder's firing.
But if it does turn out to be halfway decent, I will give it its deserved praise.
The thing I'm looking forward to the most is seeing Batman from a criminal's point of view and Harley and Joker.

How would it accelerate the firing of Snyder? He didn't direct this.

Maybe not, but he did have some input in this movie and we're about to find out just how much.

I think you're going to see another editing disaster that detracts from the directors true vision a la Batman v Superman.
You really blame the directors for the studio heads interference?

Why are you looking for shite? Just enjoy stuff. Going into it will most likely make you wanna hate it.

Just got home from seeing it .
My thoughts : it was ok .. It wants good , it wasn't bad ..
Joker : five minutes of screen time ?
Leto .. Tried too hard .
Miss Ledger

Very interested how you like or dislike this.

The movie was fine. Leto was fine. He had potential. Just wasn't a big part of the movie.

Have been waiting for movie for year. Just saw it an honestly it was kinda shite

Worst movie I've seen since Batman vs. Superman.

The editing and the pacing of the first reel is pretty choppy. Very Scott Pilgrim in places.
The musical ques come in very hot and heavy. The score is distracting throughout most of the first reel as well.
The tone of the movie is spot-on DC Comics. I don't think that we've had a film that was closer to the DC comic book universe. I can see why the comic book sites gave it a positive review.
There were no bad performances. I wasn't a fan of Croc's persona but it wasn't a deal breaker. I was so excited to see that his appearance worked so perfectly that I gave his personality a pass. They made some odd choices with Enchantress towards the end. She came off sort of Gozer from Ghostbusters here and there.
Will Smith nailed it. Margot Robbie nailed it. Captain Boomerang was fun, Diablo was damn good (loved his fire constructs). Waller was a tad cartoony here and there, but not enough to be a concern.
The added villain was straight out of a B level comic book. Nothing to get excited about, just the type of bad guy that shows up in an issue of Action then you never see them again.
The audience was pretty young and they seemed to enjoy it. People dressed like Harley and Joker. The girls behind us were hoping for a sequel.
You can tell that a lot of the film was movie by committee, but the performances really do salvage the enjoyment level. BvS was confusing and depressing. This film isn't as confusing and isn't depressing at all.
Leto is in a good bit of scenes and works his way into the plot fairly well. When they said his scenes were cut I was afraid he'd be down to a few cameos. But he does well and leaves you wanting a little more.
The cameos were spot on. That's Batman. The other cameo went by too quickly, but was decent.
As a whole it's fun to watch but a missed opportunity. But if Ayers had made his complete dark action drama, people would be bitching that DC went dark again after BvS. It's a decent segue from BvS to Wonder Woman.

It was ok. Definitely didn't live up to the hype. I was disappointed in will smith being cast as deadshot but he ended up being the best part. The plot is about as basic and rushed as it could be
I think the jokers new look was awesome but he didn't have all the little physical quirks ledger did. Did ok with the little screen time he had though
Harley Quinn is fine as frick but gets annoying after awhile. Croc and Diablo are badass and the Asian with the sword seemed out of place
6.5/10

Good:
-Will Smith might have been the best part of the movie. Yes, Will Smith. He was early 20th century Smith, and he was a good Lawton, even though he was a little "street" for what the original character has been portrayed.
-Robbie was right behind Smith. She was a great Harley, and she stole many scenes, and I expect that she will be the best part of the movie for most.
-Lets be honest, DC killed it on portraying the characters. One of my favorite villains ever, Captain Boomerang, was brilliant. I hate Jai Courtney, and thought he would kill the character. It was the opposite. He was hilarious, and still deadly. Other characters like Kitana and Diablo had small, but memorable and heart felt moments. That bar scene was the best of the movie, and was done perfectly.
-The montage introducing the characters in the beginning was well done, and was straight out of a comic.
-Post credit scene tied things together nicely.
Bad:
-The flashback scene with Harley, Joker, and Batman. It did not fit, and the color scheme that they placed in was atrocious. It almost made me not like the Joker character.
-The music. The score was descent, but the inserting of top 40 songs throughout the movie just interrupted any momentum the film had.
-Joel Kinneman. He is an awful actor, and I hated seeing him as Rick Flagg in every scene he was in. Alejandro Iñárritu can suck a big one for going over on shooting The Revenant so Tom Hardy couldnt play the character. He would have been amazing in this role.
-I would like to think that I somewhat know the character of The Enchantress since I love Justice League Dark, and from what I remember, Ive never seen her go after some kind of metal device to defeat earth/people. She is strong enough without it, and would have made for a much better villain.
-The damn sky monster(or whatever you'd call it). We have seen it enough.
Other:
-I didnt like parts of Joker. I liked other. So I guess I have no opinion since we only saw him for maybe 10 minutes.
-Didnt mind Batman/Flash scenes. Actually thought they were necessary if we are doing back stories, although it was less than 5 minutes of the story.
-I saw about 35% of a David Ayer movie. There were parts that excited me because I knew it was him, then it would cut straight to something else completely opposite, and dumb.
-Still bummed that Scott Eastwood was no one. Im still not sure that he wasnt just undercover as someone else, or he will turn into someone else.
-The story telling was different. In most superhero movies, you introduce the main character, make them go through adversity, then you cut to them taking on the bad guy. I thought Suicide Squad was more like a level of a video game. They introduced the characters, and then it was one level. The started with the weakest bad guys on the street level, and just moved up until they got to the big boss. I think that story might have deterred people by having one main setting, and one continuous bad guy.
Overall:
I could have done with a lot of the color and crap. It did not mask the fact that these were bad guys, doing bad things, being directed by one of the most gritty directors out there. A straight David Ayer movie, with a few jokes thrown in the script, but thats all, would have made this movie so much better....But, the characters were great for the most part, and watching them on screen was so much fun, and I enjoyed most of the movie because of it.... 7/10

I didn't hate it, but it was a very wasted opportunity. Terrible editing, shaky plot - some glaring and silly holes IMO. I thought the main actors salvaged the movie into the entertaining realm.
