So I was at a boat ramp with my kayak and a couple of jet skis were about ready to head out. They went to the side that was all seaweed and I thought to myself they are going to get stuck. Right away I hear beeping and I hear them revving. They come back to the boat dock and I try to tell them they sucked in seaweed, because I had jet skis for 6 years and have gotten stuck there. But they acted like I didn't know what I was talking about and blew me off and said that it was a problem with the oil. Well the oil light comes on when you suck in seaweed into the intake grate idiots. Happy riding. I would have helped you out and gave ya advice

yes, my wife will purposely not listen, to spite and when what i said comes to fruition, then i become the bad guy. i just sit back, recline and LOL.

Why would the oil light come on if you sucked up some weeds. As long as the 2 stroke engine is getting gas it's getting oil. My sea doo and waverunner have sucked many a weed and the oil light has never come on. You can over heat the water cooled engine or exhaust if the grate is clogged. Please advise
