Two families that I know of in my hometown had that many kids and both were devout Catholics. They also got government assistance and GREATLY reduced tuition at the local schools. They are good people but not all of their kids are without issues (some of them major ones). Maybe having that many children is just more problematic. Still seems like there are some agenda driven mofos up in here. The parents of the kid that pulled the gun were honest and forthright. What more do some of you assholes want?

Well.. at least she said they have both parents and both parents work..

They even took time recently to take the children to a water park.

I mean yeah it's a lot of kids, but at least they work.. or claim to.

You seem to have personal knowledge of the family. How many live at home?

I believe her when she says they both work. Are they also on any form of public assistance currently?

Also, while saddened, she was not surprised. He had quite the rap sheet and she had been trying to keep him off the streets. It still must suck to bury a kid.

In some cases kids are what they are brought up to be.. in some cases no matter how great of a parent you are a kid is just a frick up..

Definitely shows a ton of dignity on her part to make that statement. Both parents seem like great people. I've been good with alot of your posts lately but this

quote:

Now some of you may have wanted her to call him a TPOS, but mother's really don't do that when burying a son.

Seems like you're reachinga bit. Almost like you're just hoping top get a reaction. Let's just agree that his parents' honesty and class during a tough time is really special.

This is such an exhilarating feeling.

Seeing a TPOS's parents actually not denying that he was a TPOS and the cops were right.

For the first time, in like ever, I agree with you that it was commendable that his Mom didn't make excuses for him..sorry for her
