Michigan's choice as to whether he is the next coach:

The problem is Miles is still interested in Michigan and it seems as if Michigan has opened some of the pipe lines and if the Wolverines are really serious Miles will be their coach after the National championship game.

If miles leaves LSU he is no different than Saban- his word is no good. The Baltimore Sun is quoted as saying if he leaves- he leaves his integrity behind

good for the Baltimore Sun --- attach link PLEASE!

Ding!!
The guy would be trash in my eyes.
As someone else said in a thread before, if he would have left after the SECCG, i would have had no problems.
but if he leaves after the NC game, then he is S-C-U-M!! This leaves LSU in a huge lurch.

Thats a blog....Hardly a 'reliable journalistic report'. Who the frick is Terry Foster anyways?--Thats what people need to be asking.
That they even mention Urban Meyer's name anywhere with this Michigan search proves how desperate, reaching for straws, and full of shite they are in this entire matter.
Its like Sugar Plumb fairies dancing in their heads...talking about this 'wish list' of people they'd like to have, but know they dont have a shot at.
Its really just kinda getting pathetic.

I have to agree. He basically will have been lying just like Saban. Only this time its worse in that he's lying to LSU, whereas Saban didn't say he was not leaving and would not be the coach at a certain place and then change his mind. I really hope Miles stays, but now, I'm not so sure.

Why shouldn't Miles be interested in Michigan it is his Alma Mater. It has nothing to do with LSU. He loves LSU but his heart is at Michigan. Think about if you were coaching Michigan but the LSU job came open. Where would you go? Again nothing against Michigan but your heart is at LSU

Then he should go... I dont think people are upset if he leaves, it is how this ridiculous soap opera is playing out

you guys bashing Les again need to be careful. How did you look Saturady of the SECCG after Les held his press conf?

has nothing to do with interest. has to do with the fact that he has said that he isn't going and that he is staying at lsu. it has to do with integrity. i for one think that les is staying and that all of this is crap, again.

This guy is making it up as he goes along. The absolute absence of any adult supervision over what these guys (Detroit News, Detroit Free Press, ESPN) are allowed to publish makes me wonder if we haven't pushed the First Amendment beyond its acceptable boundaries. I think we should convene a Constitutional Convention to rethink the Bill of Rights.

Integrity, you guys thought when Jai Eugene gave a verbal to Michigan but signed with LSU was OK.

Forget Jai Eugene. He never would have passed Michigan's lofty academic requirements anyway.

I remember that... it was the first time in history a high school kid changed his mind about what college to go to. Saw the lifetime movie about it last week.... Paul Reuben played a fantastic Lloyd Carr and Mickey Rooney as Bo was brilliant
