I'm just glad none of the fine OTers will be participating in the prosecution of these fine men. They'd walk without a trial lol

I'd objectively look at the evidence presented and acquit if there was any semblance of a reasonable doubt
We have to remember that our court system demands the accused be proven guilty beyond doubt. What might seem like a common sense murder from the outside could be seen as a possible self-defense once a thorough presentation of fact is submitted to jurors.
Juries are not charged with saying who is right or wrong in a situation, just whether the accused has been proven guilty.

Exactly why I'd want there to be a trial. Apparently he had a gun from the cops reaction but these men should be brought to court. This video does nothing to prove "beyond a reasonable doubt" that these cops justly killed this man.

Interesting note: Both had recently won awards given by the department

well I think I did...
edit: I lie. Not the person I thought it was.

You basing your opinion on the video alone is stupid

the frick are you even trying to say here?

Yes, I went to school and played football with one of the officers all through elementary and middle school. I feel terrible for him because regardless of what happened he is a good guy just got caught up in a very unfortunate situation

probably
but this still doesnt make any sense:
"This video does nothing to prove "beyond a reasonable doubt" that these cops justly killed this man."
The cops dont have to show beyond a reasonable doubt that they "justly" killed the guy in order to keep from being convicted.
All they have to show is that there WAS a reasonable doubt that the killing was "just" (in the above posters words).
so the sentence doesnt make any sense

I know the wife of one of the officers involved. She is one of the nicest, sweetest people you will ever know. I feel bad that she and her family are having to go through something like this.
