I think he was actually behind that gas station selling CDs - Certificates of Deposit. He was apparently quite the investor

So, if justice were to be deserved, Sterling shouldn't get because of his past?

I don't know if it's related but I saw a car downtown with a sign on the side, "Justice or else."

He was probably waving a gun around at pedestrians passing him as he was peddling his music

Yeah but you forgot
1. pedophile
2. Illegal firearm
3. Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
4. Piracy of copyrighted material
5. Criminal Trespass
6. Assault on Police
7. Resisting arrest
8. Gang affiliation
Since we have to waste federal tax money for DOJ to investigate this bs shouldn't we demand if proven guilty the family has to pay the bill?

Are all those big time lapses between offenses an indication of being incarcerated?

Threatening a public official. It's usually "I'm gonna get yo' arse fired", "I'm gonna get yo' arse when I get out", etc...

illegal carrying of a weapon with CDs,

Already mentioned, controlled dangerous substances. Usually it's illegal carrying of a weapon in presence of CDS.

Criminals don't often follow the law. If he was living pillar to post he probably didn't have an address, although it's law that he register as a sex offender.

I certainly don't agree with this. But a rap sheet like that doesn't paint the picture of a nice guy who everyone loved and would never own a gun or be confrontational with police.

None of that means he got what was coming, or that justice shouldn't be served on the officers involved in the shooting. It does, however, raise questions in the public opinion (and eventually in the court room) as to whether this was the type of guy capable of pulling a gun on an officer.

Again, I have no clue if he did or didn't. But this guy was a felon, with a weapon with an extensive and violent criminal history. Fairly or unfairly, Those who will side with the officers will use this fact to back up the theory that he was a thug and was likely to use a weapon on the officers.

How was this guy not in prison with that rap sheet. Would be in jail, off the streets, not harmful to anyone, and alive, but now we get to listen about how cops hate black people. I'm sorry but this many offenses and you should be locked up for a long while

Anyone else notice the "5 * G" banner hanging under his name in the picture that keeps getting posted in the thread? Gang reference right?
