I've been on a Greg Iles kick lately.

Read all of them and then his Saxon series. The Arthur books are very very good and a bit dark.

The Silver Pigs by Lindsay Davis. About a private detective set in the days of the Roman Empire.

Cosmos by Carl Sagan
Reread 1776 by David McCullough
David McCullough is one of the best writers of the last 50 years. The Wright Brothers was amazing. The Great Bridge was very good. John Adams was his best work in my opinion.

I started reading 1776 forever ago when the OT started a book club (or lasted all of 2-3 books), but couldn't get into it.
Reading Dead Wake by Erik Larsen. This is my first by him. Pretty good so far. Reminds me of Unbroken and other good non-fiction works that weave stories into all of the facts.

Nobody's Fool-Richard Russo and Ready Player One-Ernest Cline

Being the total 80's geek that I am, I read Ready Player One and enjoyed it. It's a fun read. Steven Speilberg is going to direct the movie version of it, which should be interesting.

Brad Thor's latest. It was good.

Great book. I am currently reading one of his others, In the Garden of Beasts.

From Freesom to Slavery - Gerry Spence

In the Garden of Beasts is fantastic. To see how the world turned a blind eye to Hitler's rise is embarrassing.

Some excellent books in that series.

The Prey series by John Sandford. Some are better than others but overall very entertaining.

Reading seems like an antiquated and obsolete form of entertainment.
