Judging by our recruiting, I think we already have.

Is he better than Netherly? I would say no just by looking at their film. LSU got a beast of a receiver in Netherly. Best of luck Devonta

It definitely looks like he decided on Bama a while back. At least he was honest and straightforward with LSU. I'm okay with it. We have some very good receivers committed for this class.

Our offense doesn't fit him but Bama's does? Whatever.

Not even close. Smith is the top receiver on most SEC school's recruiting board. Amari Cooper, Calvin Ridley good.

Yes, yes he is. Netherly is a very good player but Smith is special.

Have you watched LSU and Bama play football the last 2 years? Very different offenses

Smith is great and it sucks to lose him but LSU is pretty set at the position.

Look at all these WRs that will be on the roster next season

Dee Anderson
Drake Davis
Jazz Ferguson
Derrick Dillon
D.J. Chark
Stephen Sullivan
Tyron Johnson
Mannie Netherly
Stephen Guidry
Jhamon Ausbon

While I agree with this, being that Bama is involved, he will feign interest around signing day only to go to the school we always knew he would.

It's hard to imagine growing up a fan of a school, and being blessed enough to be in a position to go there.. and absolutely having no interest.

Oh well. Shame. If you are great enough, you will shine wherever you go, but I won't fault him for his decision.

Odell Beckham Jr was quite a tremendous recent receiver here.. and that was with another 1,000 yard receiver and 1,000 yard rusher..

LSU coaches know what's going on. There's a reason we filled up our receiver class before he committed anywhere.

I hope Lane Kiffin is gone by the time Devonta sees the field. He's the perfect type of receiver for that offense.

That's because Miles let Cameron actually run the offense back then and they passed the damn ball with Mettenberger at the helm. Something that hasn't been seen since. Cam Cameron actually running the offense without interruption.
