Everybody gives Ingram and Simmons a one up a lot of times just because they are so young. Personally and some may disagree, I like these players that are seniors, who can come in and contribute asap even if they are already 22.

I would rather get a 22 year old that can contribute immediately on a cheap rookie contract and when you do go to pay them their big contract.. its during their prime. In a small market we don't get these lifers anyways, so whats the point of wasting 4 years developing that 19 year old and then when they finally are ready to contribute you have to pay them max money. And normally when that second contract is up they leave in a small market anyways. I just see us getting an extra 4 years of real value in a established player who already went through some of the growth pains these young players experience. Now obviously there are exceptions but generally speaking I'd prefer a Buddy Hield over a Jamal Murray.
