Didn't expect this...

I really thought people would be lining up at the door to play with AD and Buddy.....I didn't expect absolutely no one to want too. We never sign big free agents. We get let down every year. I guess AD isn't very well liked around the league? I really don't understand it. Hopefully AD and Buddy get good enough to where they can lead us to the playoffs by themselves.

Just be glad we're not giving Chandler fricking Parsons the max

It has more to do with the turmoil in the front office and fear of our shitty medical team than the players.
I agree with most of the posters here. If we had the season we had two years ago this year things would be different.

I'm happy we aren't getting fleeced by the players that have secured deals. Almost all have been overpays.

So we are just going to stay with the shitty team we have? Then get even worse when AD leaves in 5 years because we have made no progress?

You don't see this in the NFL, but in the MLB and the NBA, players just have to play in those big cities.

Name a player you wanted?

This is just false.

I just want anybody. Anybody. We need players. We can't be shite forever. I mean our big free agent signing last year was Kendrick Perkins for Gods sake.

I know. We are gonna be so good next year that we might be in contention for the fifth spot in the lottery next year. Who knows, maybe even 4th the next year!

Yep, when you sit back and think about it it makes sense.
Our reputation is at a low point, we can't really offer a max to anyone, we aren't a very desirable market compared to others and due to the uniqueness of the cap situation, there is a ton of other teams that check those boxes much better then we do. So we are low on the totem poll of desirability from those major FA's.
Win 45 games next season, hopefully get a few of our players to have a bounce back season and we will be much better positioned next FA period. Plus have much more money and be competing with less cap flush teams as so many are gobbling up that space this free agency and the cap will only rise 10 million next season.

Who the frick do you want us to sign?
Hey guys lets just piss away all our cap room for the next few years just for shits and giggles.

Who are we gonna sign next offseason that we are holding out for?

Look at the teams picking top 8 (exchange BKY for BOS), what free agents have they signed so far?
Mozgov
Lin
Bayless
Legit good players don't really want to go to shitty teams.

This is why next time we are building around a potential top 5 player you don't start immediately going drunk crazy trading all your draft picks for questionable fits on higher then rookie scale contracts that you will have for less time before having to pay them even more.

1) Return to the playoffs while keeping the Jazz on the outside looking in yet again
2) Sign Gordon Hayward
3) Championship

I have no idea. Why do you want to blow our wad on a average player this year? What does that do for us?
