I saw two at Juan's a few years back. They were actually pretty hot, and I thought they were models at first because they were like 6'2. Had fake tatas and everything. Then, they ordered and I figured out why they were 6'2

I remember there was a tranny professor at Ole Miss and there was one that was regularly at a coffee shop I went to. Also saw a few at a Trump protest a few weeks ago. Other than that, I can't recall seeing many trannies.

I'd bet most of them aren't comfortable enough with themselves to be front and center at a business. That's probably why you don't see them often. Not gonna lie and say they are all ugly, but no doubt they are extremely self conscious.
I can also tell you from experience....don't continue to call a crossdresser he, him, or dude while he's holding a guitar

I live in LA, not La so my experience may be different. I see plenty of guys wearing girl clothes and girls wearing guy clothes but I have no idea whether they are trans. I've never seen anyone that I thought was a girl in the men's room.

Usually it's the pool of vomit at my feet that gives them away.

Unfortunately I've gotten up close and personal with a transgender. Not by choice though

I haven't, but my SO has plenty of stories from doing a clinical rotation at the public health department. She walked in the exam room and saw a patient who she thought was a beautiful black woman. Right up until the point when the patient lifted up her dress and unfurled a BBC.

Went to church with a dude who decided to leave his wife and 10 yr old son to become a woman. He was always a very weird guy.

My wife's cousin could always throw a football better than any of the guys. She, the cousin, was always a bit depressed and started experimenting with other girls at a young age. Not very surprised when she decided she was actually a guy. A couple years ago he started taking hormone injections at 14/15 years old. He now is a very happy, normal person with a girlfriend that you would never had guessed was born a girl.

According to this map there are millions in the U.S.
According to that map, there are 1.4 million, and it's from data compiled by an LGBT advocacy "think tank". As with any single-interest group, I'm skeptical of self released statistical information.

Last week I called a friend I hadn't seen or heard from in 20 years.
He told me he was going to the airport to pick up his son.
I said, "You have a son, too? Last time we spoke, you only had a daughter."
He said, "That's right. My daughter is now my son."
He went on to say his daughter had expressed her desire to "be a boy" ever since she was, like, three years old.
Well, whadooyaknow.
