So I guess the eczema and the asthma have to be tied into each other at some point I am assuming. Perhaps with the cat? I don't know.
Furthermore, it's pretty clear now that whoever killed Andrea came in thru that gate and possibly exited that way as well. Someone on reddit has a theory that when Naz wakes up in the kitchen you can hear a motorcyle engine revving. I take all of that with a grain of salt given the fact that this is NYC. But who knows...

How was the episode last night?
Posted on 7/25/16 at 9:21 am to FalseProphet
Worst of the 3 IMO. Spent most of episode centered around Stones feet

Well they probably have similar triggers.

I'm starting to think that it's just trying to be a hyper realistic procedural. I wouldn't be surprised of we never find out who the killer is. Seeing how all this comes together is the point, not the mystery.

Something about Stone's attitude after Naz tells him that his family wants different representation gives me the vibe that he's going to go rogue and try to figure this case out on his own. Also, in the previews for E4, Box & Stone meet in what looks like a park. Stone makes the comments "I don't think you even believe that he did this."
This show does a good job of showing you that their are no good or bad guys in this show (which is realistic imo). Box has shown you that he will use certain elements to get the information he wants (ex.inhaler & letting his parents see him). Stone is trying to secure his payday on this case. Even Freddy's character is trying to pivot and gain Naz's trust in some fashion.

just started this last night and got caught up. It seems like the show wants us to believe there are two possibilities so far for the actual killer
Step dad- seemed like a strange guy and denied at first the pictures were Andrea
Black guy that accompanied witness during altercation- intense mean mug, buddy denied he was present in an uncomfortable manner
Wildcard- guy on the motorcycle that stares down Naz at the red light (possibly one of the two above?)
Neighbor that called the cops
Likely- character we haven't met yet.
Don't know if the cat and the deer hold clues yet or if that's just some type of symbolism from the writers, but both have been somewhat of a focal point.

weaker I thought. It looked like classic ecstasy he was taking.

good call, that motorcycle driver was staring too hard at him as well. Like he knew him from somewhere.
A motorcycle revving could have been what woke the neighbor up so he was near a window to hear the glass.

The first episode had me on the edge of my seat. That was intense. Second...meh. Last night also had me on the edge of my seat, but because I was waiting to have to look away from a graphic rape scene. Both in the shower and at the urinal I just knew Nas was about to become a bitch.
The show still has my interest, but there was no way it was going to keep the pace of the first episode.

What wakes Naz up in the first place?
If the backdoor is used by the killer, does this person never even see the kitchen? Which would mean he has no idea Naz is asleep in the kitchen with the door open?
And then he doesn't close the fridge door when going back upstairs. Any barbarian that doesn't close an open refrigerator could easily stab a bitch 22 times.

Something about the inhaler being on the bed seemed important. The only drugs they appeared to do were uppers so I'm wondering if he had some kind of panic attack in the kitchen and passed out. I'm just throwing shite at the wall but trying to connect some of the dots.

Correct. I wrote a detailed post about this on page 15

When he was just chilling in the shower I was yelling at him in my head to GTFO out of there like it was a horror movie... you about to get raped!
Unfortunately for Nas, I fear he is about to strike a deal to willingly take it in exchange for protection. Raped or killed...raped or killed.
On topic though...I'm going with the dude that was walking with the TPOS that made the comment about Nas when he and the vic were walking into the house. Later in the show the TPOS shows up at the scene and talks to the cops, but his buddy is missing. And if I remember correctly, he had an evil stare at Nas. He's gotta be involved.

To me? lack of blood. He may have showered but that crime scene was really bloody and he was clean.
Stupid as hell not to dump the knife. A whole bunch of stupid choices, really the kid deserves what he gets for being so dumb.

quote:I thought about that too but they had the scene where he's banging the female guard and it's implied that he has plenty of connections with other guards so it seems like he's still able to get heterosexual sex in there. Which makes his motivation to protect Naz even more of a mystery.

I've only read the last 3 pages here, so I apologize if some has already mentioned this....
Andrea said to Nas , "I can't be alone tonight"... or something to that effect. I believe it was their beach scene.
This tells me Andrea had an enemy or there was someone that had it out for her.
So many hints and clues to consider that all point to Nas NOT being the killer.. at least that's what they want us to believe.
But I agree with the other posters -it's slowed down a lot and there are several issues being focused on that don't really interest me.
But I'm going to keep watching.

I thoroughly enjoyed last night's episode
I guess the threat of violent shower rape doesn't add enough tension for some of you
