Thinking of putting a Bull Bar on a lifted ruck

Is this considered trashy? I'm personally starting to think Bull Bars might be the GOAT exterior truck accessory.

some slapdick ran into the back of me a few months ago...only messed up some plastic on my explorer, but bull bar on the front of his truck rolled back into his radiator and fricked up a world of shite.

Exactly this. All it's good for is showing people that your rig is a mall crawler. Hit anything substantial and it is gonna cause way more damage that if it wasn't even there.

They're good for helping protect your winch on the trails. If you don't have a winch then yes, it's a radiator smasher.

I'm not sure what you're calling a bull bar but the front bumper on my Jeep came with a 3 inch diameter pipe that fit around my winch. I've even used it as a pulling anchor point before. It helped to keep tree limbs and such from slapping against my winch.
But then again I did real off-roading. I doubt you know what that is like.
