Missed that part. I tend to ignore Julia sometimes. Had the volume off when we were eating supper. I stand corrected.

So anyway, first time I've seen Ford. He doesn't look like he sounds.

I love the fact that George doesn't shy away from interviews because of his stutter.

He's the man

Agreed. Love george.

I'll wait for mctaggart to confirm the final word on the glasses after he receives the team press release.

2nd night in a row I really enjoyed the Ford/Blum pairing. Ash is creepy and annoying, Eschenfelder seemed uncomfortable in the role. Ford slid right in from radio.

Military appreciation night on FSN Midwest. I hate the Brewers in the NL Central as well.

A great example for how visiting fans should behave. Good luck until we meet again

Late night crew just an FYI, Arlington is in Oakland right now if you've got nothin to watch. A loss puts us 8.5 back

Above .500 and 5 games or fewer back at the break would be very nice

I brought up the Charlie Pride effect last night before the game

He kinda sounds a little like Billy Crystal to me isn't he from NY? I know he's a Syracuse grad

I can't remember a more frustrating cardinals team to watch.

I think you guys can definitely grab a wild card spot. Big question is do you have a pitcher that can go win that game because you're looking at Dodgers/Mets/Nats/Pirates as other teams who can trot out a beast

Agree. I dont think there are any Cards fans who thought the offense would be carrying the team this season. Baseball is crazy like that throwing curveballs and thats why I love it.

Good luck the rest of the way Astros fans. Still think we had a good thing going in the NL Central with you in it. Can't help but respect Houston honestly, going back to the killer B's and the fights we had in the division.

I'm disappointed Wacha has struggled so much this year. Hopefully he gets it back together as the season goes on

frick Jim Edmonds. Bum. And Scotty Rolen. And Pujols, Carp and Yadi (God he's been around forever). I just realized he was a backup to Matheny in 04

Its crazy, time flies by. Astros and Cards had some awesome battles in the 2000's.

He has been off since just past all star break last year. He is having control problems and has lost some movement in his off speed stuff and that is a recipe for trouble.

He is still young though. Cards have been working him hard in the top 1-2 in the rotation.

Nah man, I get it.

I find enjoyment in seeing long time St Louis Blues and Rams find success with other teams. I really wanted to see Steven Jackson win a superbowl. Watched all the Falcons games to watch him try.

I dont think there was ever "hate" between the Cards and Astros, at least for me. Just damn good competition and respect.
