Has anyone sat in the South stadium club for a football game? What is it all about? Is it worth the extra money?

According to the ballers here, it's for the poors.
Basically the Wal-Mart of suites.

It's pretty nice, but if you can swing a west side club seat instead, I'd go for that. I've used season tickets in both sections, and the west side is roomier and has covered seating.
South side is newer and nicer, but it's more cramped (you'll notice this during halftime for sure), and no covered seats.
The view is great in either, but again, a little better from the west side.
All that being said, south stadium club seats still blow the pants off of any other seat other than west side or a suite.

I've got a friend that has seats in SCS, it's the same as the other stadium clubs, very nice. I was impressed, solid catering(jambalaya, pastas, soups, boudin, chilis, sandwiches, ice cream/snacks for the kids,etc..)
It's a nice refuge on a sweltering game to have the AC to retreat to, clean bathrooms, pay bar for liqour, covered seating from sun's rays but only on one back row under the very top..
If you bring an appetite for cajun fare, drink many soft drinks/waters, lemon ices, etc..you figure you consumed what would cost $50 to $75 at a concession stand over the course of four hours, in Chimes grade dining..and donated another few Franklins on top of that as an athletic donation.

pay bar for liquor
What? It's usually free in other suites or at least free to guests.

Sat there a couple times. Good food. Lots of tables and tvs to watch other games when we aren't playing. I loved it.

Alcohol is not free in any part of Tiger Stadium. Suites pay for the liquor up front to stock each suite.
West club is definitely way better than South due to no cover in the South End Zone Club.

It's very nice, great selection of food. Very nice to get out of heat or inclement weather if need be. It does get very crowded especially at half time. The view is great if you don't mind endzone seats. Alcohol is not free. Overall, very nice set up and well done.

I think it's really nice inside but disagree with most here on the view. It's very high... almost an upper deck type view.

I prefer to sit there for hot and poor opponent games, but I choose to sit at the 40 yd line in the lower bowl for big games later in the year.
West side stadium club is far better.
Ssc is too crowded to be considered as good as wsc.

I wasn't impressed, TBH, but it's all about what you're looking for, i.e. great amenities vs horrible sight lInes.

Sat there for the Auburn game last year. I'll say it was nice if for nothing else to be able to escape from the heat that day and get quick refills and recuperate in the A/C. Food was plentiful and mostly solid.
As far as the seats, it fricking sucks if it's a early season day game. We roasted and there's no shade unless you go inside. I think it'd be great for a true fall day game or at night though.
Sorry the picture quality sucks.
