Yep. The defense even wanted to bring up people talking about how messed up her friend was and the drug money she owed. Ito shot that one down.

They could have been better but evidence is evidence and all those jurors chose to ignore the evidence.

Eh. She knows Simpson did it. She makes herself feel better by saying the prosecution screwed up. Goes to show how much of a role the personality of the attorneys plays in the courtroom. Look at the Casey Anthony trial. Jeff Ashton vs Cheney Mason. She fell for the Cochran charm. She was never going to rock the jury boat either. She clearly justifies is to herself by blaming the prosecution. Still no mention of actual evidence.
Her interview was edited, but she did mention evidence a few times. She talked about OJ trying on the glove and how that was a mistake. She said she could see the glove was big without the demo, but then when he tried it on, it didn't fit. She talked about something else, as well, but I can't recall what it was.
The prosecution was awful. Ito was awful. The police were awful. Fuhrman was awful. And, to this day, I still can't figure out how OJ got so lucky that he wasn't dripping with blood after those bloody horrific murders. I think that was just a lucky fluke for him. I don't think he could have planned it that way.

There are mistakes made in every criminal trial. Prosecutors are human. However, even with those mistakes, there are a lot of people rightfully convicted in cases with even less conclusive evidence than in the OJ case.
I think the documentary did a good job of showing that it is virtually a certainty that he did it, but he was acquitted largely because of the racial climate in LA at the time. That jury wanted OJ to "win". The defense just had to give them something to hang their hat on. Furman was a big part of that.

Didn't the prosecuter who got Charles Manson convicted with less evidence write a book about how the prosecution fricked up so bad?

There was that mysterious bag that Kardashian was seen carrying and was never seen again. It could have contained his clothes and the murder weapon. OTOH it doesn't explain the lack of blood in his bronco, unless he used another vehicle. Or the lack of blood in his shower drains, unless he cleaned up elsewhere.

The story of that bag is messed up. Apparently Kardashian instructed his family to give it to the Browns/Goldmans after he died. The Kardashians set up a meeting with them to hand it over but backed out the day of the exchange.

FIFY and that is why is was acquitted. The prosecution was horrible but even as horrible as they were, they proved he did it and he would have been convicted anywhere else or even in LA with a white jury.
Its unreal.
There are still black people that don't think he did it.

Kim Kardasian claims she went through the bag at her house and found nothing out of the ordinary.

I should have also mentioned that the defense did a masterful job in the trial maximizing just about every flaw that existed.

Ito was awful.
He was the worst, way too aware of the cameras - seemed awestruck by Cochran, let the defense get away with whatever they pretty much wanted.

Kim saw an opportunity to put the light on herself. Shocked.

Did I misunderstand the argument Clark said she had with Darden re. the glove and making OJ try it on? It seemed she said she knew it was a bad idea and Darden wanted to. If she was lead why didn't she just not allow him to do it? I may have not followed something there...
Also, Darden was used so badly by both sides and ended up just a zero...Mrs LCA says Darden and Clark ended up a couple briefly?...She can mis-remember stuff too though

There's white people that don't think he did it as well.
I think like 80% of people total think he did it. If you're waiting for the US to unanimously agree on anything you'll be waiting forever. There's people that don't think dinosuars existed.

The bronco chase was pretty much all the evidence anyone should need.
No innocent man does that...with a gun to his head

I was at the Rangers game that night. All of the concession stands had the OJ chase rolling. People were just standing there watching it. I went up to get a coke and watched it for 20 or 30 minutes. The workers were having to ask people to please not stand where people were in line.
When I got back to my seat I looked into the press box and all of the TV's in there were on the chase too. It was one of the craziest things I've ever seen.

...Mrs LCA says Darden and Clark ended up a couple briefly?
I think this is correct, but they've both been very coy about the actual nature of the relationship. They were working long hours together, she was going through a divorce and he had not met his future wife (Marcia Carter, which is weird enough) yet.

She didn't overrule him, but she advised against it. It happens with trial teams. You want to reserve "overriding" - especially if that lawyer is responsible for that particular area. Trial is an art, not a science. He was put on the team to provide a connection to black jurors, although I think he did a fine job with various parts of the trial. The gloves were not his finest hour, but he got played. Bailey would have done it anyway. They should have been prepared and gotten it stopped. 8 months or whatever, they could have gotten a glove expert, arthritis expert to explain all of that for the jury.
Wouldn't have mattered - the jury has all but admitted they acquitted him when they were seated. The trial only superficially involved the murders of Brown and Goldman - it was really a trial of the LAPD and LA District Attorney's office.
My favorite part of the entire series was Douglas' Fifth Quarter explanation of how OJ got 33 years (of which he will end up serving about 1/3, BTW) for a 2 year crime.
