Anyone else watching part II tonight?

This story is still so captivating to me.

Is there a legal way to watch part 1? Forgot to record again and I can't find it on demand anywhere.

I'm halfway through part 1. It's good, but pretty drawn out. It feels more like a snapshot in time than an oj documentary.

Just finished the 2nd part.

Wow, OJ was such a POS. I mean I know he was guilty, but had no clue of what led up to the killing.

Watching her frick some dude while they were seperated? And the. Hearing him screaming during the 911 calls?

This doc is pretty damn good

I said this in the MSB thread, this documentary has blown American Crime Story out of the water. Might be the most compelling thing ESPN has ever done.

It is VERY drawn out. But all serves a purpose for the upcoming parts and why black people, even though OJ distanced himself so far from them, rooted for him and applauded when he got let off. Some of those stories I had never heard about. Pretty sick stuff. Excited for part 3 tonight, should start to really get into the downfall of this POS.

All five episodes uncensored and with no commercials here and I watched them via the WatchESPN app on Apple TV:

TBH I can see why there was such hostility toward Korean store owners by the black community after that Korean woman shot the black girl in the back of the head as she was walking away. Doesn't excuse the violence of the Rodney King Riots, but it gave some insight into how things got that way.

And for all the LAPD's tough talk about law and order, they pussed out when the shite hit the fan. Easy to go tear up somebody's house looking for drugs, or beat the shite out of a drunk driver. When there was an actual need for tough policing, they stood down and let South Central burn.

Do you do this with everything you don't agree with? How do you gain any kind of perspective?

To those of you not watching, you're really missing out.

I started it last night, I'm only 25, so I didn't know a lot of of this shite.

I'm really enjoying it thus far. I'm only through pt. 1 though.

Wow, I'm old.
I had a class to get to when they announced the verdict...I don't think anyone went. We were all packed in the Union watching it live.
There were no cheers.

It was a somber "WTF just happened" day at LSU.

Doesn't put Nicole's family in a very good light, either. They were all basically on OJ's payroll. They talk a good game now, but they were looking the other way and cashing their checks as Nicole got regularly beat to shite. And Nicole herself made excuses for him for a long time. That doesn't make her culpable for her own death, but it's very typical behavior of an abuse victim. They can be their own worst enemy as they keep going back to their abuser.

No I don't. In this particular case, I don't need "perspective" from someone offering that as an excuse for someone to brutally hack 2 people to death.

oh, so you don't understand the point of the documentary or the point that "OJ was seduced by white culture"

A lot of men whip their wife's arse on a daily basis. A lot of men kill their wives. I'll venture it has more to do with their faulty mental wiring than an appropriation of a seductive culture. Look I'm just saying the Dude was bad to his core and sometimes that's all it's about. Don't need a specific culture as an excuse for a double murder. And as I only got to the point in the doc that the quote was made and haven't seen the entire doc I probably don't understand the point of it.

It seems like most people are missing the main objective of the documentary, which is to shed some light on how black people who didn,t give a rat's arse about OJ were cheerful when he was found not guilty for a murder that he absolutely commited. The documentary does a good job explaining how the relationship between the black community and the LAPD had gotten to such a bad, and festering state after decades of police brutality and injustice with the police getting away with it time and time again. And yes O.J. was seduced but the white side, I'm not saying that's the case for every man that beats and murders his wife, but this is what happened to O.J. He cultivated the idea that he could become colorless, the doc. plays multiple video interviews where OJ said so.
