I'd be disappointed and surprised if we lose a baseball coach to Alabama.

shoot forgot about Riser. He's definitely in the mix. Though those Canizarro roots are deep not only at Tulane but in Nola

cannizaro has to be the first choice. then riser.
either way, it's an upgrade for tulane. nothing against pierce, that's just my opinion.
cannizaro would be the ultimate home run. tulane's three coaching hires in the last year would be unbelievable.

Kendall Rogers thinks Alabama is definitely interested in Pierce but he doesn't think Pierce would take the Alabama job with the Texas job still open.
