I don't support American troops over there because it's exactly what they are begging for. It's my policy to never give a shithead what he wants. Figure out some other way to frick them up.

Most definitions of "Millennial" I've seen usually range from 1981 to 1996/97.
Which is still crazy. Being 10 years old in 1996 you had no internet or cell phone. You had to play outside for entertainment. It was completely different than being a 10 year old in 2006
Agree. These "generations" are all too long to have real meaning.

Do they get 'there' work done?
8 hour workday is stupid in most cases.
You shouldn't be spending most of your waking life trying to make enough money to "enjoy" life.

I was born in 81 and didn't have a cell phone until after high school. We had dialup at home which meant you couldn't use the phone if you were online.
And there wasn't much worth doing online in the mid-90s anyway besides downloading songs on Napster or jerking off for 45 minutes while waiting for your porn to finish downloading.
I didn't have a smart phone until after college. We used the card catalog in the library to do research for our papers.
I've got nothing in common with people who grew up with fast Internet on a mobile device when they were kids. And especially those who grew up with social media. Facebook was created after I went to college. And apparently it was just used by college kids for a few years but I never used it until it became mainstream.
I think my generation despises social media in general which is the biggest difference between me and millenials.

A big part of what is wrong with the mils is that nothing bad is ever their fault, but everything good now is.

I'm Older - What get's me is these kids come in to an office atmosphere and set around playing on Facebook etc without even trying to hide it.
Oh then all the 47 year old secretaries in my office must be millenials.

Water is wet. My 3 yr old has more grit than some 13yr olds that I've been around. All we can do is lead by example and try to turn this thing around.

Your logic is not sound.
It's not logic. It's name-calling as a substitute for thoughtful argument, of which the OP seems to be incapable. The real, and apparently unintended commentary, is that the citizenry has, on the whole, become so dumb and poorly educated that they cannot consider, form or express rational thoughts about the issues of the day. Instead, they call people names.

Sounds like our fighting force in Vietnam. Of course, that could be because of all the educated folk were trying to dodge the draft or spending their days in a Hippie drum circle.
But the OP is right, millennials are uniquely weak and war-averse.

We didn't grow up with internet and cellphones.
Yes some people had them. And Zach on saved by the Bell had one. That's it.
frick smart phones didn't come out until I was about to graduate college.
Being born in the 80s is way diff than kids born in the late 90s.
