So you are above 30 non-"millennial" and decided to worship Dan Bilizerian
You sound like a tool.

Had not even heard of facebook until I got to college, but apparently I'm a millennial and my generation sucks the hardest for some reasons made up by middle aged/older folks who were just as stupid when they were my peers' age but try to front like they aren't

younger generation isn't buying into fear tactics - good for them
they're getting screwed by every definition of the word - so I don't criticize them at all

It kind of is, yes. There were hundreds of factors that lead to the outbreak of both WWI and WWII and I find it very hard to attach any meaningful relevance to American "isolationism".

Does that mean that the generation before Millennials were the worst parents of all time?

Just the way the baby boomers raised them. Boomers had everything handed to them and then bitch when "kids" don't want to work hard.

Yes, it was extremely incorrect. Have you ever taken a history class? I assume you must have, but you either didn't pay attention or your world view has so colored the information you received that it's no longer recognizable.
Correlation does not equal causation. Yes the U.S. was relatively isolationist during WW! and WW2. No those facts had almost nothing to do with either war happening. In fact, we weren't even really isolationist in WW2, we were giving money and supplies to the allies as soon as the war broke out. In WW1 we didn't even have the military presence or know how or opportunity to intervene to prevent the war. It happened in a matter of days, there was no big build up were the US could've intervened even if we had the ability or desire. Really this was the case in both wars. If you made a list of the reasons for both WW's starting, American isolationism would be in the triple digits, if it was on there at all.
As far as Obama being to blame for ISIS, of course he shares some of the blame. But no more than Reagan for his incredibly short sighted operation Operation Cyclone to create the mujahdeen which lead to the Taliban and Al-Quaeda. Or Bush for his incredibly short sighted invasion of Iraq. I'm sure Clinton fricked up somewhere along the line too. The leadership in this country on both sides of the aisle has been ineffective at dealing with the middle east.
Guess what? That's not an indictment on any of them. It's an incredibly complex geo-political region with grudges and factions dating back centuries and a culture far different from our own. The problem is trying to navigate or use those waters to begin with

Personally I'd rather we use our advanced technology to indiscriminately bomb everyone of their city into rubble and limit American troops risking their lives to play by unrealistic rules they won't follow. But what do I know, according to someone I never met I'm a pussy

I've studied both extensively longer than many here have been alive. And I hate to tell you but this is simply incorrect.
Perhaps an argument could be made that had the US been more engaged with Europe in the mid-30's Hitler could have been stopped before WWII broke out. But I'd still have serious reservations ever making such a claim.

80% would be happy to live under an Islamic Caliphate if the alternative was to join the US Military to fight them if needed.
Not wantint to serve in the military equates to being happy living under Islamic rule? Strawman much?
I would love to see polls from the early 60's to see how much different the numbers would be if you substitute Vietnam for ISIS.
There are 75+ million milenials in the US. If you just look at the "already joined" and the "will join" groups that would total more than 4.5mil people, which is more people than have ever been in the US military except for 1943 - 1945 when there were 9mil, 11.6mil, 12mil respectively. How exactly does this prove they are "pussified"?

Top right is the most telling. So pretty much, if we needed more guys cause we were getting our asses whipped they still wouldn't join. There's absolutely no sense of patriotism in my age group. It's goddamned pathetic.
See my post above. 6% of millenials joining the military would give us the 4th highest number of active military personel in our history. How many people WANTED to join up and go to Vietnam?
LINK
From this site, 9.7% of the the Vietnam generation served. 25% of the people who served were draftees. This means that 7.3% of the people from that generation who served were volunteers. 6% in this poll said they are in the military or will "definitely join" if needed. This shows me that every generation is just about the same.
66% of WWII vets were draftees, clearly 1940s Americans wanted to live under Nazi rule.
